It was wierd there was no shots fired and we wasnt in combat just died

Me and my friend was at our camp and both of us suddenly died for no reason we didn't get a you are dead screen just a white screen saying no quitting after this happened we made our way back to the camp and after about 5 minutes then same thing happened again has any body else seen this before?
