  1. What I really think has done it? People disconnecting before they die. I might get yelled at for even suggesting this but really, I have noticed well over 50% of the players I run into now will disconnect to avoid death, be it from other players or from zombies (Much more likely. I've met lots of people who ALWAYS disconnect to avoid zombie deaths but never player deaths) It's an extremely well known exploit now where as most people had no idea it existed for quite a while. People now justify it by saying things like "it's a part of the game" and "it's an alpha we are supposed to use glitches like this to help test" and other things of that nature I'm really not exaggerating, a whopping amount of people disconnect to avoid me killing them every day and I always see people legging it from zombies only to disconnect and have them all disappear. On that note, I have noticed that it's been said in the future player's bodies will stay there for 5 seconds after disconnecting to try fix this.. and that's great. But 5 seconds isn't enough in my eyes, it needs to be at least 30 to make sure people don't just break LoS and do it.
  2. This already happened when the zombie count was unintentionally raised to very high levels (Around 1300-1500 zombies on a 50 slot server) and guess what.. there was a HUGE amount of teamwork and not nearly as many bandits. Then the carebears had a whinge (Yeah, I went there) about too many zombies and they were dropped by 50% or so.. and guess what, now they whinge because everybody is a bandit because it's too bloody easy to survive. What a surprise. :)
  3. Happy to hear that. Thanks for the compliment on the website mate, means a lot!
  4. 7 days, could have been 8 maybe by the time I died. Played at least 8 hours a day.
  5. NO I thought DayZ was going for realism, black birds and flies following around bad people sounds ridiculous... Find a better solution.

    Pending Update 1.7.1 Details

YES This would stop new players instantly shooting everyone and everything around them and teach them to think more about the options they have available to them.
