Part of the problem with a game gaining popularity is the inevitable arseholes it brings. As one of the guys above said, I've been playing about 200 hours in-game and havent seen any hackers yet. Having said that I'm fairly avaisive of other players and I tend to avoid PvP hotspots.

Makarov all the way baby! Quiet, excellent for dropping Z's and ammo so common it's almost unlimted! It's perfect for what a side arm should be used for - dispatching of the undead/infected. Primary wapon is for dealing with troublesom banditos!

Its a bug, it fixes when servers restart.

Trading forum is a good idea.

There should be a lot of new weapons added for variety. Im sick of seeing the Lee Enfield, Winchester and CZE. Would be nice to see more variety, even if they were similar in ability.

Try the sea or a large lake/pond? They will follow you and you will lose gear but they will move so slow in the water you can normally swim and circle back round to the beach or the other side and leave them stranded or at the very least really far behind you.

Worst things Ive done in game happened a few weeks back in the wilderness somewhere to the east of Stary Sobor. I Raided a well hidden tent in the wilderness that I stumbled across. I could hear a Lee Enfield somewhere out in the wilderness and guessed it was the owner of the tent. It was pretty well stocked up with food, drink parts and ammo . I stocked up my own supplies with what I could carry and needed, ate all of the food (even though I didn’t need it ) and scattered the parts about the grass lands. Pure Spite I know! Anyway heading away from the tent smiling with self satisfaction, I spotted a guy heading towards the location of the camp. I followed him for a while and then shot him as he approached his tent. I didn’t even ask him if he was friendly or give him a chance, I just shot him in the back (cowardly I know!). My reasoning was I would be in the area for a while and I didn’t want to run into him and his Lee Enfield but to be fair I think I was just happy to kill him and have him out the way. I did feel quite guilty for a while though and thought he must have been really upset, he didn’t even see it coming. Worst part is even if he did manage to get back online and find his old camp, his goodies would have been strewn all over the woodlands.

Yea I wouldnt bother with the ghilli suit, you may as well ask people to kill you.

The flames thing is a bug with ARMA 2. The choppers tend to spawn all over the map, i've seen one down in the south, just near ROG in an open field.

Ive fallen foul of this myself a few times. Worst of it is I’ve actually seen the Zombies morph through the walls too, so I’ve been attacked from behind by zombies that have some how managed to get in to the same room as me through the walls! Now I tend to stay well away from the walls now or where possible get off the ground floor in buildings!

Ive spawned at Otmel at least twice (started a post about island spawning today) and Ive been to the light house island near there and found nothing, not even infected.

Not really an achievement just pure cowardice and probably now an attempt at trolling. You will more than meet your match in-game soon Im sure and to be fair this sort of unpredictable and poor form behaviour actually does help make the game better, funnily enough. Having to deal with newbie trigger happy nuggets and running the risk of encountering them for me enhances the suspense and emersion. Persoanlly I'd have probably dropped you, seeing someone among loads of dead survivors is always a bad sign.

Ive never seen a working chopper yet. Only found 1 crashed one too. In fact Ive never seena working vehicle yet. I heard a motorbike or ATV nearby when I was near Stary Sobor but didnt actually see it

Bug deaths are the worst! I hate losing my kit because of bugs. But hey, it's still alpha, and it's in a better state than some full release games I've played so I can take the occasional bugged death! I'm looking forward to beta or full release though and would think i could survivie for a fair bit of time with a more stable game.
