Look out for GPS's. You just need to play more to familiarise ourself with the map and land marks. Seriously after a few hours in a region you become really familiar with it.

Personally I feel that players who play once and rage about the game and then quit it aren't the types of player we want in the community anyway - I'd say this mod isnt aimed at them and they should just go and play Left 4 Dead or something which is a bit more action geared. If you don't get what Day Z is about either before you play it or upon loading into the map you are playing hte wrong game. This is aimed at true fans of the zombie genre.

You're free to hop on TS any time mate. Registration isnt necessary to use the TS server but it is necessary to be involved with the BSB survivors group that is being organised. Submitting the affiliation form means you're a bit more serious about getting involved and want to take part in the group activities such the fire teams.

You guys should check us out - The BSB Network. We're predominantly a social gaming community open to all fair & mature gamers but we also host an in-house clan (which it isn't necessary to join to get involved!) . We have no age/skill/time requirements or restrictions and are just looking for decent people to get involved with our games. We have members from all over the world and are very stable, having been established way back in 2012. We use Teamspeak when playing and are presently setting up a more organised structure for our Day Z players with raiding parties and fire teams. Zombies used to be much more of a threat in my opinion. The early days of the mod you couldnt lose zombies ever - they just chased and chased you in an ever increasing "train" till you either killed them all or they killed you. When you consider there was many more zombies to contend with (most I seen on a server was 1150ish) , much less ammo and NO MELEE weapon, obviously then you see why they were more of a threat. It is still early days for this mod/game I'd say enjoy it while you can!
