Happened to me the other day. Hackers are pricks.

I fully expect future releases or the standalone release of Day Z to have zombies that can move fast through buildings. Then we can all watch as the hundreds of crying threads we see here whining that "zombies are too soft" or "pffft zombie survival game!" turn to "zombies need to be nerfed!" Although it would be fair to request that working barricades and doors be made available first to at least slow down perusing zombies and to give you a bit of a chance! Scary and exciting thought though.

It is a sandbox game after all, if you want to eat raw meat that's your prerogative. Mind you, I would have the risk of sickness and infection increased to 75% myself.

Good stuff I'll look out for you if Im on but i doubt ill be gaming till after the weekend now. Just pop on any of the channels and say Hi, someone will be up for getting you invovled in their group.

Ive often wondered why you cant eat the pumpkins you find in some gardens in villages. Im sure a few berries and root vegetables or even mushrooms would be a decent addition. Mind you, it might be a good idea to have a trade off in having a significant risk to surviving off the land, such as having poisonous fungi and berries out there so there was a risk if you didnt know what you were looking for.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread but you guys should really check us out @ the BSB Network (details in my signature). You would fit right into our current setup of having fire teams all working as smaller parts of a larger community. We have TS3 and a lot of active members in the UK, Euro and in the US. I wouldnt complain if they were removed myself but they do act as a nice kind of objective, particularly for groups, and because of which this helps encourage team play. I personally would just make them more rare than rocking horse shit and make parts extremely rare too so you don't see them every other server. They should be something you see maybe once every couple of weeks.
