Hackers suck but what game don't they ruin? At least the OTT ones that are drawing attention to themselves are are playing their part in this testing stage by highlighting the fact that something needs to be done to control them and keep them in check for full release. The worst hackers are the ones that are doing it on the fly, spawning their kit quietly, spawning ammo and weapon etc.

I used to find it quite liberating being spawned back at the south coast with my Makorov (obviously pre-update days!). I do still quite like "early game" but theres a bit more of a sense of urgency now you have no weapon and no supplies.

Mountain Dew!!!! Also tried to collect as many JD bottles one and managed to fine 5 before some Bandit killed me - wish I could have seen his look of suprise when he opened my back pack expecting all kinds of goodies!

Is that right that it's been confirmed that a full stand alone version will be released this year?

Ive mentioned this before in another topic about Radio coms but what Day Z in it's current version could do with is incorporation of the ACE mod available for ARMA 2 - as shown here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4444 For those who arent familiar with it it's an enhancement for environmental interactiona nd basically makes the game feel a bit better and give s you more options for interaction. There is also an ACRE for much better and realistic radio coms. (See here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11339 ) Both are excellent and seriously would benefit the game!
