Are you talking about those water things you get on tactical backpacks ? Like here (click) They would be a great idea as addons for backpacks. But the water system needs some work in my opinion anyway; canteens should hold more than one single serving and should rehydrate you more than soda (or pop as we call it in the UK!). Also on the subject of Backpacks, the Czech pouch thing should be an addon to other backpacks as it's currently useless.

Hi I’m looking for some Day Z players who are interested in producing some official Day Z content on behalf of our community (The BSB Network – www.bsbnetwork.com). We are a social gaming community (not a clan, although we do host an internal clan and support several other clans). We have many Day Z players and I’d like to promote the game/mod further by producing a series of written journals as well as some good video content for our You Tube channel/website and even some like feed events via our live feed page on our website. We already have a couple of our community members producing bits here and there but obviously you can never have too much of a good thing! Its a good idea that would work when the game is stand alone as the ARMA 2 engine doesnt seem to like doors, or rather zombies dont seem to be able to see them as they just walk straight through them. Certainly in full release id like to see more environmental interaction with consequence, like your doors idea and having events happen upon opening them. Or indeed having perhaps things such as having zombies reaching through open windows when a player runs past them (ala Resident evil!), or even something like having roving hordes of zombies that are far too big to deal with single handedly (or even with a group) that appear at certain locations accross the map or inside various bigger buildings such as industrial plants. There are lots of possibilities!

I say full retail release should just have game controlled servers rather than private servers to avoid abuse.

PvP and PvE are and have been since launch acceptable terms used within Day Z.......

Protip: Look for the ones with "go faster" stripes!

Like it or not PvE will prove profitable and popular (I personally prefer PvP elements being in the game before I get flamed to oblivion!) and if/when the game goes full release it will undoubtedly be far too tempting to accommodate the PvE players, particularly if the game goes Pay-to-Win, I mean Free-2-play! Lets face it though, it's sandbox and if some people prefer a safer PvE game and miss out on some major elements to the game then so be it, as long as its separate from PvP gamers why the hell not accommodate it?

Im 32 mate. Most of our members are adults over 20 but we do have some mature younger members. We have no age/skill/time commitments for our community all we ask for is fair play and a bit of common sense.

Yea lots of players on at all times of the day and night - 13 players online gaming right now at 9 am in the morning and last night peak time I counted almost 30 in various different squads! Thats pretty sweet!
