  1. Hi, you are welcome to check us out at The BSB Network. We're a social gaming community (not a clan) that is dedicated to fair and fun gaming. We have many members and clans within our community supporting Day Z that team up in groups using our TS3 Server to communicate and coordinate their The community is mostly adult gamers over the age of 20 (well over in most cases!) but there are no age, time or skill requirements - all we ask is you play fair and have a bit of common sense about you! Our members are based all over the world and are on at all times of the day and night, but all speak English and most are based in and around the UK, the US and Mainland Europe. We've been gaming as a community since 2002, so we're not some ad-hoc fly by night clan! I must stress we aren't a clan at all but we do have our own in-house "home" clan within the community that has members playing Day Z, and there are other clans within our community playing Day Z. There is no obligation to join our or any of our affiliated clans to take part. If you're interested check out or website @ www.bsbnetwork.com and hop on our TS3 server and say hi!

    Full release - Map discussion

I still think a US based map would be better personally. I do love Chenerus and wouldn't even object to it being used to produce a new map but would much prefer to play against a backdrop of a more modern and identifiable environment. And for all Chenarus is huge, it still doesnt seem big enough, especially since there arent really big enough or enough "hot spots". I was on a server 2ith 5 other people the other day and I still managed to see 3 of them milling around Cherno! Plus it would make things a bit simpler having towns vilalges and even streets in English.

    Pricing.

I paid £24 for Arma X edition purely for this mod back in early April after hearing whispers about it from our Arma 2 gamers in our community. I dont resent paying for a full separate release to be honest taking into consideration how many hours of gameplay I've had so far and will have with a less buggy "proper" game. It's only fair really. I do sincerely hope there are better anti-hack systems built into the game though! Also hope theres going to be a new map, US/UK based with lots of cities as well as dense woodland! When and where did he say that? It's always been the goal of the mod to go stand alone but I've never seen any serious deadlines or targets provided.

  5. I run a dual core with 4gb ram that just about plays BF3 on basic settings and I rarely dropped below 35fps when there was servers with 700+ zombies on them. Check your system maybe? The game is buggy and laggy at times but that doesnt sound right to me mate.
  6. Like i Said in my post, there has been many many more zombies in previous version s of the game and to be honest with you there wasnt too much of a problem, well not for me anyway and I'm only playing just above basic spec.
  7. I'd say no to the idea. There's already have too many hyperactive COD players within Day Z, giving them a "l337" weapon will just encourage them!

    Tired of Playing by myself

Dunno if it interests you but there are couple of small groups in our community that are looking for players. Theres always a couple of players on looking for team mates on our TS3 server. The TS3 server can be seen from our website. Note: we're not a clan recruiting, just a simple gaming community for mature, fair and fun gamers. Theres no obligation to join our in-house clan (it's invitation only anyway!) or any of the clans that use our resources.

    bad ohmen

To be honest with you mate I know I'm always a bit more apprehensive when I see a guy ghillied up and I know I'd probably shoot first simply because in my experience the guys in ghilies tend to be the guys who are happy to sit plinking guys like me off from miles away with sniper rifles.

    What is the point

To be fair the low populated servers do still get hackers but personally I do encounter them much less than the bigger high poped servers. A few of my mates were on the 100 man uk server thats quite new (UK226?) and i avoided it as it was practically begging to be spoiled by hackers. Sure enough 20 mins into a game the lads were complaining of hackers teleporting them. It's certainly a bit of a pain in the arse at the moment.

    Shameless! What a nob.

    noob looking for a team

Hiya mate, our community has a number of teams and clans using our resources at www.bsbnetwork.com. Check the forum and the TS3 server to see whos online and up for having you join them.
  13. I must admit in recent patches it seems theres less and less threat from zombies. Now they just seem like an inconvenience. Early releases where zombies never stopped chasing you did make them more of a threat, also the “mistake” patch that added loads of them (I remember seeing 1100+ on one server!) also did make them more of a threat. I think if they stay as “soft” as they are and you’re able to lose them easily - which I do think should remain in the game as that’s what zombies are all about essentially, on their own they are weak and not much of a threat, the threat comes from their numbers and tenacious efforts to peruse you the survivor. Therefor for me there needs to be a lot more of them. I appreciate having more is harder to do technically but even having more spawns out in the wilderness would probably help and maybe tweak how easily it is to lose them.

Holy **** my heart is pounding!

Great story, enjoyed reading it! Nice to see another gamer who fully appreciates wha this mod is all about! Hope you continue to enjoy the mod!

    [BSB] Network Recruiting

Please not we are primary a a community and not a clan. We do have an in=house clan but it is not essential to be a part of this to get involved with the games hosted within our community, nor does it mean by becoming a part of our community you are part of the In-house clan (The Core). There are also a couple of other Day Z clans/teams using our community and resources so it's a great place to meet up with other decent, mature and fair gamers. We will blackball those who are cheats, idiots, trolls, greifers and just general nuggets.

    Anybody online?

Hi we have a couple of clans and small fire teams within our community at The BSB Network (www.bsbnetwork.com) NOTE we're not a clan. We do have an internal, in-house clan attached to us but we are essentially a community aimed at hosting and organising online social games and NOT just looking for recruits. Anyone is welcome to come and get involved with the games that our community members host, either by going on our forum and checking out who is online and organising a team or by joining our TS3 server and tagging along with gamers already online and in-game. We have not time skill or age requirements, we are purely here for fair and friendly players.

Looking for people to Team up with!

Hi there we're the BSB Network, a social gaming community that has a good number of players supporting Day Z. We're hosting many smaller groups within the game and presently undergoing the process of organising a larger scale community group within the game operating fire teams, safe zones etc. We're a stable and established community that was setup in 2002 (so we're not a fly by night ad-hoc clan or anything!) and we're just a good community of gamers looking for fun games. We have no age, skill or time requirements, all we ask is for players to be fair and have a bit of common sense. We use TS3 and have our own community website with members from all over the world. Most of our members are over the age of 20 (well over in most cases!) but we do have some mature younger players too! If you're interested in joining in our groups in Day Z go to our website or hop on our Public TS3 server any time; www.bsbnetwork.com Our recruitment/advertisement topic on this forum can be found here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/48408-bsb-network-recruiting/#entry462503

    Dayz endgame ideas.

Reminds me of this thread from a few months back - This is what all the players who think Day Z needs an end game to be challenging need! http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/666-dayz-nut-up-mode-challenge-yourself-son/

You can still have sandbox and optional missions/tasks, just look at the GTA series. I wouldnt be too surprised if they come with full release, in fact I would be surprised if they didn't.

Optional "missions" or objective might be nice but an over all end game shouldn't be incorporated.
