  1. Hi, you are welcome to check us out at The BSB Network. We're a social gaming community (not a clan) that is dedicated to fair and fun gaming. We have many members and clans within our community supporting Day Z that team up in groups using our TS3 Server to communicate and coordinate their The community is mostly adult gamers over the age of 20 (well over in most cases!) but there are no age, time or skill requirements - all we ask is you play fair and have a bit of common sense about you! Our members are based all over the world and are on at all times of the day and night, but all speak English and most are based in and around the UK, the US and Mainland Europe. We've been gaming as a community since 2002, so we're not some ad-hoc fly by night clan! I must stress we aren't a clan at all but we do have our own in-house "home" clan within the community that has members playing Day Z, and there are other clans within our community playing Day Z. There is no obligation to join our or any of our affiliated clans to take part. If you're interested check out or website @ www.bsbnetwork.com and hop on our TS3 server and say hi!

  3. Find one of the smaller with low yield villages with few enter-able buildings. There's quite a number of them down the west of the map.

    RIP DayZ!

You make a post like your OP and then imply I'm immature?! lol You're new to the internet yea? This mod has a very specific target audience, the problem is the popularity of the mod and hype surrounding it has attracted a lot of nuggets. That doesnt mean it is dead. In fact this mod, on the back of it's popluarity through word of mouth and with no funded publicity, has had a full stand alone release commisioned within 4 months of open testing. You only have to look at the amount of activity on this forum to see this is far from a "dead" game. My original post was to highlight you have only been here a matter of days, how could you possibly say it's "dead" based on 10 or so day's activity? All I'd say is that those who feel the game is dead or not worth playing should simply stop playing it, why feel the need to come here and bitch about it in every other post?
  6. Jump onto a vehicle or object and you will probably survive.

bosses / special infected / or monsters

I'm all for optional side missions but I really dont think there should be special infected or "boss" infected at all. Sorry but it's a no from me!

    Back Pack suggestion

I think big engine parts should require seperate transport or require 2 people to carry (and drop if they need to eat/fight/drink). Tyres/wheelse could take a single person but would still need to be dropped when fighting/eating/drinking. They should be difficult and rare and take real effort to get, I'm sick of seeing vehicles in every server and finding camps with 3 or 4 vehicles in!
  13. boxman80

    Back Pack suggestion

Getting engine parts and such is flawed in the current system, these SHOULD be difficult to get and take dedicated equipment and thought regarding transport. It will make teh vehicles a little more rare and cut down on any and everyone having vehicles, especially choppers! It's ridiculous to have blokes running about with choppor rotor engines in their backpacks!

    Back Pack suggestion

It's been raised a few times before but never the less it's a good idea and should be implemented in the full release for sure!

    How far can you go

Its good to use for navigating around or avoiding groups/hotspots etc, but no you probably wotn find anything stashed out there now. THere was things out there before a recent patch though.

    Full release - Map discussion

I hope there's lots of little easter eggs and nice little things to find around the maps too. For example sunken ships, unique death scenes (last stands by civilians in interesting places), references to popular zombie fiction books/series/movies etc.

    Sea Water Filled Canteens.

You used to be able to drink sea water early release. lol Reminds me of an idea someone psted before about leaving poisoned food/water around.

    Camp fire perk

lol In all seriousness though I think that that there are already two good reasons to have a campfire, warmth and cooking meat - both of which already have positive affects on your character (cooked meat drastically inproving your blood levels too!). I don't think there are anymore realistic or feasable benefits needed. This kind of is similar ot the sleeping bags thread, which I do think is a good idea, giving players loot that actually benefits them when offline.
