BSB Faction Wars Event started this week. Our server is a freaking war zone this week!

I'm just saying it's not a merge it's a take over. I'm quite aware of the ropes in regard to multi-gaming clans/communities mate - ours has been going since 2002. But like I say , more often than not the story often ends badly with such takeovers...

That sounds more like a take over than a merge to me. Good luck though, we've had lots of problems with similar affiliations with smaller clans.

Been suggested lots of times previously but that doesnt detract from the fact it still is a good idea to be able to incapacitate another player. I would hope it comes into the game soon! Id be all for more melee weapons such as hammers, baseball bats (cricket bats!) etc to be able to knock out or break a leg sure! I also like the idea of having zip ties (cable ties) to ensure a player cant use a weapon or remains incapacitated for a set period of time. Id even be happy to see a tazer, stun grenades or even drug injections being introduced.

Things have just heated up! Our Faction Wars event has kicked off with it's first weekly challenge - Operation Clean up! Our faction members are now actively looking to engage all you nasty bandits in order to claim the points on your heads! 1 point per unique kill (repeat kills wont claim them points) and a bonus point if they kill you with an axe! The whole server is expected to turn into a war zone all this week! This event closes a week today when a new objective will be posted!

We're a stable and established community that supports fair and mature gamers on various different games setup in 2002 (so we're not a fly by night ad-hoc clan or anything!). Most of our members are over the age of 20 (well over in most cases!) but we do have some mature younger players too! Day Z/Wasteland wise, we have our own Taviana Private Hive that's always populated and is increasing in popularity. We have our own two clan Factions (BSB Scorpions and BSB Ravens) that go head to head against each other as well as several smaller groups/clans too within our community. If you're interested, just hop on the serve any time. Our guys tend not to team up with players unless they are on our TS3 server too though so be warned. You have been quite unlucky. You can easily find better weapons on Taviana, depends on which Barracks you raided as there are 3 levels of barracks that have different values of loot, but even the lowest value ones churn out decent weapons. The server has a limit of 400 vehicles and is restarted at least once every 24 hours.

Glad to hear you've had a god time. We may be running bonus evens for players on our server who arent members later down the line (such as notoriety points for Bandits, bonuses for select weapon kills and specific target "hit lists").

Stupid, but if there are idiots out there willing to pay for kit then more fool them! $60 for kit they will most likely lose in a day or two because they arent skilled, experienced or motivated enough to get for themselves?

Just a quick query. Weve got a Vilayer server (presently running Taviana). It's all patched and uptodate but it's been running since just before the 2.0 update. Ive tried to disable the 3rd person view (found the config option to allow me to do this and it's set to "disable" 3rd person) but it doesnt seem to be applying this setting. I've also noted that the server isnt running the changes tavi 2.0 is supposed to ahve implemented, or at least all of them, for example ive not seen any of the new vehicles or weapons spawn yet. I presume it's becasue i have to do a full "reset" of the server, but ive heard of servers not needing this and that just applied the 2,0 and its features without losing data. Anyone else who has a Vilayer server (prefereably running Tavi) have a similar experience or have any advice?

I had another play around with it tonight and it appears that 3rd person is working just fine now, but I'm still to see any of the new weapons or vehicles Tavi 2.0 added though. Server address is 94.242.227.166 Port: 2542 Id rather not lose any gear for our users though as the server is really getting busy recently
