Hi mate, welcome to the forum and indeed the game. Check out our Taviana server, it's awesome for new players as it's got more buildings and custom content as well as around 300 vehicles. You don't have to run for miles to find anything, rarely more than 1k! We have also custom loot and weapons that werent in the normal Day z too as well as having weekly events and two factions (Ravens - friendlies/heroes & Scorpions - Bandits) of members (that play against each other every day) and several groups and lone wolves on the server. We're UK based and have a long server lease and our community has been going since 2002 (so we wont just disappear at the end of the month like some servers!!!). Were a mature adult community too so no noob admins or admin abuse! If you're interested the server address is in my signature.

You are experiencing the same as many of us - too many servers, not enough people! Day Z players are spoilt for choice these days with not only loads of private hives to select but so many different "flavours" of Day Z to play. The community has become fragmented and divided among a sea of different versions and masses of temporary servers. This is always the danger with Mods and games with endless DLC packs. The biggest problem with it all is that anyone and their brother thinks they can just open a server and everyone will flood in and play. It's not that easy though. Personally I see the biggest key to success being persistence and longevity. Hosting a consistent version and map helps on a long lease. Also having various additions and customs that make your server stand out is also worth looking into.

Bandits are also welcome to participate. Your group would be more than welcome to to be involved, both of our factions and smaller PMCs (other bandit groups) would be on the hunt looking to kill you too.

Just we're looking for small teams and Private Military companies to join our custom Taviana server and take part in our Faction Wars weekly event (currently in the second season and upto game 3!). Shame you guys have drifted away you were decent folk. I think you'd fit right in with our Faction wars event. Our Raven faction is taking on new members and is the less bandit faction, focusing on survival, hunting, stealth and killing Scorpions (Our bandit faction!). Objective: Secure your team's chopper/plane and destroy all other air vehicles. The most kills wins. Location BSB Taviana Server. Each faction will be provided with several choppers. Any PMC that pre-signs up to the event will also be provided with several aircraft. Lone Wolves or players turning up once the event has started will have to source their own aircraft (increased aircraft will be provided temporarily) Start Time Sunday 7th April 8:30pm - 10pm (GMT) Faction and PMC players should arrive 8:30pm. Event starts 9pm (GMT). Event closes at 10:30pm. Any private teams who want to compete should contact me. Server Details

You use any of the available air vehicles. We have no plans to put RMOD on at the moment as we've already unlocked a number of vehicles and items without it.
