Hi mate, you sound like you might fit in with our group @ BSB Network. We're primarily an open group of mature/adult gamers. We have our own Epoch server (and vanilla serer too) as well as Teamspeak 3. We've supported Day Z since launch and will be supporting it well into stand alone. We've recently reset and relaunched our epoch server on a new host and have a good, consistent and solid group of players divided up into some smaller teams playing regularly. Server attendance is also building up nicely too. The group has been gaming since 2002 so it's also stable and consistent. We have no silly requirements (like being on every day for hours on end etc) or rules - all our rules are based on common sense and just basic things like no hacking! For all this is our clan home server, there are no massively over powered teams punishing new players the second they set foot on the coast and our polayers are divided up among small groups and teams! The initial post is quite clear it's epoch and there's more to the config than simply no 3rd person. If you are going to try to be a smart arse at least read first mate and get your facts straight.

Fair point but it is Epoch and if people who play this particular mod have a problem with the traders then they are playing the wrong mod! Traders are a fundamental part of this particular mod so there's not a lot we can do about them within Epoch, that's the developers job. Also we do have a standard vanilla Day Z main hive server for those who want to go that extra mile without the traders in Day Z too. The point is this is our Epoch server, so the traders and their stocks are to be expected, all be it with modified pricing to make things like choppers, night vision, high end weapons etc VERY difficult to obtain. These are the sort of things that have to be worked towards on this particular server. Personally I feel this is a unique server and certainly one of the hardest configs we've ran on our servers and we've been running them since launch.

We run servers for both vanilla and epoch so if you fancy a few games with some decent folk, shameless plug, check us out ;)

Id suggest maybe a hospital somewhere (ala 28 days later and walking dead). Thinking along the same lines maybe a police/prison cell or at some random car/plane wreck across the map. That said, these would heavily support "role playing" and some people feel that Day Z should encourage/discourage any kind of forced gameplay/scenarios. With that in mind I still quite like the coastal spawns.
