Ok so like what I want to know is... Do viehcles have their certain spawn points on each server for example Van will always spawn at petrol station on the east coast. or can it spawn in the different labled locations on dayzdb.com. Like ive read the helicopter only spawns in 2 locations yet the dayzdb shows 7 Dont want to waste my time searching countless different places when I have found a few spawn points, our server has suddenly become a populaur server when it was very quiet and because of this our viehcles get taken so im out hunting for new ones. any information would be appreciated, and yeh i have tried googling this and just get silly answers and no real information

Hey so im really new to day Z, love the game bought arma 2 just to play it. So me and some friends managed to patch up a car on a server, we got up to a factory got lots of spares for it and drove into the woods to stash it while we cooked meat and stuff. So while we were here we noticed that someone had marked the map at the factory, ok so no big deal just time to move on, So we moved over to berezino on the east coast, next thing you know theres a mark on this area, So we figure maybe they are just taking the same road as us, so we moved on took a tiny little dirt road to the most northern airfield on the east coast, that road gets marked, then after decided to hold up at the air base and fight we notice a mark at the road entering the air base, after sitting for 15 mins scanning the area in the dark, we head off another dirt path that is a dead end literally nothing there and drive it into the woods a distance. I get out the car and run miles into the woods, marks appear on the dirt road and start appearing where i had run. then on the exact location of my two friends and the location of the car So yeh in the end there was only one guy left on the server, who had a ping of 10 which makes me think he was the server admin possibly, while the marks kept going on. How i know it wasnt my friends? One was driving the car and not stopping, one frapsed (recorded the whole thing) Any Ideas? Is this common on some servers? Just dosnt seem right to me.

Id be tempted to play a private hive but i wouldnt know where to start or where to look Anti

Yeh we had another run in with them tonight He had spawned our tractor to the air base, Know it was ours by the loot that was in it after i killed the sucker. and there was no way he could have beaten us there from our base as tractor was there when we left lol

I have this same problem on de 1251, The admin is able to pinpoint the location of the players, We even drove round once while his clan kept marking us on the map, wherever we went we were marked. today we had the admin trapped in the air tower at the barracks with Night vision on him so he cudnt run, funny thing is when his torch came on out the window it was pointed at my exact location everytime i moved. that and the fact he had OUR tractor parked outside (and yes i know it was ours by the loot inside) that was left at a base, no possible way to beat us to the barracks from the location we set out from in the van. So yeh some admins are hacking, and they need to be banned, Same rules should apply to everyone, Only admin powers shud be a report feature, that adds a day ban from that server, enough reports and that player shud be banned from the hive. I do get the admins going mad, cause yeh i have met some good ones on some servers and I have met some bad ones, like these #@!#@ or one who banned my mate after some guy stole the truck the admin and my mate were in, but de 1251 is where we have our stashes, our viehcles and such, and cant be bothered starting over again. So yeh, sort out the hacking Dayz! and the tents lol, thats all that stops this game from being epiccccc, give normal players the report feature too. We have video evidence of this guy abusing the game, Hell he even alt f4'd after a dmr to the head, came back in lower down the air tower even tho it still showed him at the top with his rifle aimed and wasted my mate. I got him back tho gunned him down n he went to bed crying i hope lol. Just hoping the stand alone will sort all the issues out

Ah fair enough, thanks guys, I know for deffo it wasnt a friend messing about as one has the whole session recorded, and one was constantly driving. Thanks for the info tho guys, checked back today and the same guy was marking all the viehcles and crash points on the map, pretty sure its his server he has the clan tag with all his mates, just takes the piss, had to change server n start again cant be dealing with working for that stuff only to log in and find our cars gone cause a hacker or admin can locate where we are

So noone has any idea if this is a hack or not?
