Are you seriously hinting at powering up derelict buildings for extra uses? What else could that entail? Lighting a lighthouse? Although I havn't seen anything of the sort, stationary better hospital equipment? Oh lord my mind is a buzz of possibilities! I bet I am just reading to far into it though :P

To actually answer your question. Bandit changing was broken until (supposedly) he most recent patch 1.5.2. Also without guys like him creating a threat in the "noob" towns it would make it boring and too easy to scavenge

Think I will try that on a spare computer when I get home! (Don't want to mess up my current install so I can play while I do this :P) Will post results here and maybe even a tutorial for anyone who finds this interesting.

Can I change that so freely? Only ever used that to remove registries for a complete uninstall.

Yeah I have heard of NVGs and alot of those other guns soundcool! I was just recounting my only time spent in an airfield. I was there for so long hunting for stuff, then I found an M16 I expected there to be more!

What can you get in the wild that denotes you shouldn't be going into the cities? I mean there are an abundance of guns, ammo, food and medical supplies in the cities. Only been to one airfield and only found an M16, athlough awesome not warranting the time I spent looking around it.

For example; Someone wants to play their character on my computer. They would have to uninstall, then reinstall with their CD key? Or install it with a different directory on the same computer using their CD key. I feel there should be some kind of work around this. Like..editing some type of ini file that tells it to use a certain key.....I know this doesn't exist but I am just thinking Hopefully there is some kind of login implemented at some point anyway! Probably like someone else said its low on the implementation list.

Just going to hijack or slightly expand on your question maybe. Say if I have want to play at a friends house, is there a way I can use *MY* characer on a different computer?
