Please if you have a Green Mountain story please share it but here's mine: So my squad of 3 and I had just found a Huey after spending a few hours fixing it up we were going to move our base to an area above Berinzino near Black Lake. We were going to go with 2 in the chopper and 2 in the car. I was to be the guard of the driver of the car. Our path took us straight through GM so we decided to look for some ATVs up their... About one klick out we saw our chopper go out of sight and heard the code word for contact at GM. The pilot reported seeing a flashing light down near the tower. As we approached the tower we saw a car on its side and all the wheels gone. The bodies weapons all had like 5 rounds left per mag indicating a gun battle. I snuck around and looked in through the gate... There had to have been at least 50 zombies in side. I started to crawl back to the car but a zombie was attacking the car and the driver shot it. All the zombies chased us to the car I went full auto with a M-249 at 10 meters... Only 5 fell dead!! That was a at least 50 round burst!we made it to the car and made it down the hill and then the cars wheel broke... There was nothing for it to break on!! Luckily our chopper made it back and got us... I've never been back since. Note: this happened at 12:00 midnight.

There is no teaching people how to fly in the SA, you're a survivor, not a know it all. Nobody can jump in a plane with 0 experience and just fly around and land, it's ridiculous. And of planes were on two servers that would NOT work, as those servers would be swarmed and the vehicles would be griefed/hidden to all Jesus. So let's say this every time the planes are destroyed or lost (not acceded in 7 dayz) they respawn on a different server in a random location. Secondly a PA-18 is quite a simple plane to fly. My dad has a 2-seater version and has turned to stick over to me when we go flying . Of course I've never landed it or done a take off.

Yes I would like to see a plane in but extremely rare only 2 in game worlds existence like my J-3/PA-18 idead

Hello everyone and good day, I know in the past I have had not-so-good ideas for DayZ (Lock-On Rocket Launchers & MGLs) but I think this might be a good one. Ok so as it is currently in the mod we have only 1 prop-driven aircraft the AN-2 biplane. It is a good aircraft but it has faults such as long-take off and landing distances. Also no reverse and very little maneuverability. So my idea being replace or add a new aircraft. A Piper SuperCub PA-18... This is a light 2 seat prop-driven plane. This aircraft has advantages and few disadvantages. Advantages: 1. Max speed of 208 km/h (130 Mph) 2. Stall speed of 69 km/h (43 Mph) 3. Range: 735 km (460 miles) 4. Take-off distance 200 ft. 5. Landing distance 350 ft. 6. 36 gallon fuel capacity 7. Perfect for scouting Disadvantages: 1. Can probably be shot down with a AKM or M-16 2. No armaments 3. Fragile (No hard landings) 4. Only 2 Seats In the mod the aircraft should have about 10 gear slots and a backpack slot. The aircraft should be able to be pulled around by the tail. The plane is very light to pull and push. (My dad owns one and I have helped him push in and out of a hanger) You should be able to walk up behind the plane and scroll selecting a "Grab Plane" option and pull or push it. The plane could have an attachment that is found at Balota or NE airfield which is a pair of floats for the plane. Attaching these to the plane now allows it to land on water or land (Floats for this plane have build in wheels for ground landings too). Thanks for reading and please tell me what you think.

Why not just add a C-47 and we can fly away happily with the unit. Because we already have a large plane the AN-2. We really need a smaller plane like the SuperCub

These are all valid points but the PA-18 is a very popular plane in many countries. Also during the Second World War the U.S. sent a early version of the PA-18 over to Rusia for scout planes. So it is feasible that someone there collected and took care of one or built it from a plane kit. Also the AN-4 Idea is better than the Piper seaplane and much easier to implement. Hello all! So as the title suggests I have need experiencing my ping spiking to 1500+ every time I join a server in 5-10 minutes it goes back down to 200-400 but in that time I'm kicked from all most every Battleye server I can find. This means I can only play on Private-Hives and I continually get all my gear destroyed by hackers... Also if a server is hacked and I'm on I am always accused of hacking which I do not do... So my question is there any way to stop this problem?

Hello and good-day, so you know how in the mod now the chopper crashes are kind-of immersion breaking. The crashes themselves are not the problem, it's that all crashes are sitting up-right and the UH-1Y is not that damaged. My suggestion is make more crash textures like one chopper skidded in on its side shredding rotors and breaking the tail off, another would be like the chopper is stuck in the side of a building and its tail is hanging precariously over the side. Also on the Mi-8 and UH-60 crashes make them partially burned out like with every thing from the cockpit back is burnt and the side of it has slashed open from rotor-blades,or like just a black smudged area on the ground with parts strewn about like the chopper nosedived in. Also, make like a civilian chopper crashes near city's. The chopper could be like a Bell or just a repurposed MI-8 civilian with like news cameras. Make most Heli- crashes around military or hospital areas. To keep realism it could be like a person became infected and attacked the crew and the chopper landed hard. Weapons around the crashes should be, if they near a burn part, damaged or burn-up. Thanks for reading... Examples:

I beg to differ, we have a military style clan and it works well, but knowing military tactics really increases the coordination of attacks and supply runs.

Look at the UAZ in the background is it just me or does it look a little "off"

Ok first off... In a museum all guns or weapons will be de-miled this means that the weapons will not fire unless attended to by a professional gunsmith so no it's not that realistic. Secondly, in a post-soviet state do you really think that their would be a museum? Rural country= no museum.

What all have you tried? Have you reinstalled Armas latest patch? Have you COMPLETLY deleted you @DayZ folder and reinstalled it? These things helped me...

If so what version?: The latest as of now idk which it is. *Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: I am using DayZ Commander. *What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: Ok long story short when ever I try to join a few non-Battleye Private hives it loads everything normally but whenever it gets through with all of the loading it says waiting for character to create... It then went into countdown in which every number takes like 10 seconds to go by. At the end of this it goes straight to debug area. A few other people on the server have the same problems and I'm just out of ideas... Any help is appreciated.

I to am having this same problemb nothing works I have restarted PC, I have reinstalled DayZ and Arma, I have found one thing that sometimes works... Go to another server for a bit and come back and try to relog.
