Couldn't you just do a LAN by your self it would be the same. This is a good idea I'm going to get standalone but... I have hugesenet satellite Internet and I can barely play minecraft so I need a single player will my LAN idea work?

Ok so I was thinking we could have a MGL multiple grenade launcher. A MGL fires 6 40mm grenades. This is good for trucks cars and Huey's. it would have an aim point sight. Keep in mind this would be very rare. Comment ur opinion.

Hey so I'm getting the standalone and I have watched a lot of YouTube videos about the game, but what are some things a noob like my self and others should know before just jumping in there? Please try to stay on topic.

Pertaining, to .22LR rounds can you consider adding ammo bricks. These would be used for storage,and can be filled with loose rounds you find. They can hold about 100 rounds, and used for all .22 caliber firing weapons.

Consider the MGL if you add armored vehicles this would give us a fighting chance.

You do realize the real 40mm rounds aren't that powerful also I got this from Wikipedia and I quote,"Upon impact, the grenade can kill anyone within the radius of five meters, and wound them within the radius of 15 meters. It can also punch through 2 inches (5.1 cm) of rolled homogeneous armor with a direct hit (0 Degree Obliquity), which means it can penetrate most infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. It is especially effective when used against enemy infantry formations." Unless those people were with in 5-15 meters of the blast yes they would be in shock, massive blood loss, and of course death. If Rocket adds any armored vehicles to the game or standalone you would wish this weapon would be included in the game.

Like nugget said the gameplay aspects of it shouldn't change that much, aside from an ease of storage and accessing supplies. The YouTube videos were of the mod but for the reason of it shouldn't be that different.

I would like to see guided-rockets in DayZ, my reasons being the military pulling out to escape the zombies couldn't have taken every thing. So any one who found this very rare drop could take down a Huey or a fast moving car. To counter this you could add a few more chopper spawns,and chaft and other lock on counter measures. At the moment to take down choppers it takes high-powered anti-material rifles or volley firing from machine guns.

Wait, what if at the crash site there was a small chance of a NPC soldier spawning, so u hear gunshots from them fending off other crew zombies. Have it in standalone to uncover some of how the first days of the infection. If you help him/her they follow you and help you.
