    Buy the standalone; the A3 version isn't half of what the A2 version is. Imagine A2 with twice the bugs and graphical eye candy. Is one worth the other? Plus the standalone will have the most effective attention when updated.

    *facepalm* Hitting your face on the desk is called a facedesk. A deskpalm is when you slap your desk. You literally name the two objects that are hitting each other. Is that a hard concept?

    Using render-to-texture and texture ripping? Maybe. Seems like Stake can help you. I don't think the extra lag and work would be worth it. I mean... it's not like DayZ has a very good electrical grid, let alone working TV stations.

    Am I the only veteran that doesn't find easy-mode a good reason to go back to DayZ? I make the game harder every time I get bored. Less vehicles, tougher AI, more zombie spawns, et cetera. Currently the airfield is a firefight between 3 factions, each 1-20 groups of 5-25 AI strong shooting all other factions on sight, keeping the zombies constantly agroed. The bandit groups shoot players while the soldier and survivor groups shoot players with low humanity.

    A more decayed zombie has a lot less to hit, and the body is already adapted to the lack of liquid fluids required for survival.

    Like, it's black, or the UI just isn't there? Is your screen resolution bigger than your PC can handle? (IE, are you running 1920x1080 on a 1366x768 monitor?)

    Whatever he's trying to say, he's insane; DayZ is fantastic. I can't begin to count how many times lag has saved my life. It's only killed me 3 or 4 times.
