Describe your stuttering. Do you mean a visual one, or are you jumping back-and-forth when you try moving? Is there an artifact effect, or? "Stuttering" is used to name a great many problems.

DayZ will hurt your frames no matter how well you run normal ArmA; the zombie models, clusterfuck of spawned items and terrain features, et cetera makes DayZ a lot more system intensive than normal.

The hatchet will be on a thin strip of gear slots at the bottom-right of your inventory screen and, when unattached from your toolbelt (read the post above me), will be in your primary weapon slot (the one that has a picture of an assault rifle when empty). Don't run so often, stick to grass and stay off of roads.

Any player that talks/types in sidechat or uses text communications gets shot on sight. Anyone in a bandit outfit gets shot on sight. Anyone in a large group (3+ players) gets shot. Anyone in a helicopter, near a vehicle, somewhere I want to loot, or a tent gets shot. If my blood is below half, they get shot. If I'm hungry they get shot.

You didn't exactly highlight it. And what the fuck is wrong with your video? It's all wavy and warpy.

Prison has been confirmed for a while, as well as a massive wrecked ship. I'm pretty sure Utes is being added off the north-east coast (right?) of Chernarus, so boats will actually be useful. I'd like to see a military base with some kind of AA emplacement so an active group of players could kill the zombies there, set up camp, and be able to shoot down invading helicopters 1-2 times/restart. Caltrops to break legs and pop tires would be nice too.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Only play on official servers (they'll have names like US1, Chicago2, et cetera. Google *your location* DayZ official server). They have more players, and they're the vanilla game. For me, it would be "East coast Dayz official hive" It might take you awhile because the first 500 google search pages will be private hive advertisements.

Translate this: I mean that regardless of whether you are an bandit or not, you have to do shooting at some point in DayZ. You make a wrong turn and get trapped by a zombie, you get jumped by a bandit, or what have you. I don't appreciate you assuming I am one, nor do I appreciate the fact that you think the admins are your personal army to whom you can bitch because someone is a bandit, and you're too much of a child to handle the concept of desperation in the apocalypse which would could possibly lead to such activity.

So I've got an idea for a basic exposition in a series of 5-10 minute videos I want to make, short quips of comedy or tragedy (depending on who signs up and what we can figure out) that revolve around a survivor new to the apocalypse being harassed by bandits and zombies. It doesn't sound too original, I know, but I promise it'll be fanfreakingtastic if enough people want in. The only requirements: Either be on the east US/Canadian coast, west Europe, or be willing to deal with ping/timezone problems Have a microphone Know what the hell you're doing Follow instructions Unless someone else would like to do it, I'm going to host the server. For the sake of recording, required weapons/vehicles/equipment/buildings/zombies will be spawned in. The database will be different from the Applejaxc private hive (so the players on the real server won't deal with too many cars/weapons spawned in, and actors won't be running around the real server with free cars and machine guns). Don't worry about getting a BattlEYE ban; I've got it all set up. Application: Name (first) In-game name Character name/short bio/skin/favorite gear (bandit or hero? sniper or rifleman?) Well I'm glad you shared, because I'm sure now a lot of players are going to have even more fun in DayZ. I draw angry faces on all the places I've died.

First of all, it's cheating because you can use it without having found an actual map in game. Second, it's a waste of money; the library in my city let print a larger map, laminated it, and now I can use markers to draw and erase notes. :)

I'll give you a few bullets to survive with. Do you like having working legs or arms more?

My laptop has a 2.1GHz processor and I run the game fine.

I'd find pits of it, quickly throw a backpack/NVGs/whatever on it, and wait in a bush. Soon as a player ran up to get it, I'd break their leg and laugh mercilessly as they sank.
