Get rid of the AA! What's wrong with you? Also play at 1280x720 if your monitor doesn't distort it for whatever reason. Anyway, 39+FPS is pretty good. -

I have to be popular and helpful to the forums to be named in game, not the cynical bandit/private hive-bashing asshole that gets yelled at by moderators. Seriously, I've already got 2 warning strikes from late-night bad decision making. You think I'm going to be in game? I wish... XD -
What program do you use? The absolute best quality I've gotten out of anything is using Dxtory and Sony Vegas Pro together, with the Lagarith Lossless video Codec. That combination doesn't take more than 1-2 frames off my game while I play, unlike Fraps which can make DayZ/Minecraft uplaybale. They cost money... but there's always alternatives to buying. *hint hint*

Holy shit you can do that? After a ArmA 2/OA uninstall I never got the "Run combined OPS" option in Steam. I didn't know there was a shortcut for it... -
Hi. So a problem (not nearly as common as it once was) that DayZ (mod) has, that hopefully won't follow into the Stand Alone, is being stuck in the "Debug forest" or similar locations. Thus this suggestion is more geared towards the mod than anything else. A lot of Coop "Domination" or "Invade and Annex" A2/3 servers use a teleport script that is on the context menu of telephone poles. Obviously DayZ could use a much better, theme-fitting object. But basically, if you get stuck in the debug, you unstick yourself with a teleport script that essentially redoes the random spawn at the start of the game. (so where it teleports you to is random)

No you don't have to buy combined operations. What you do is you make a shortcut named "Addons" in your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder, and connect the shortcut to your ArmA 2 folder. -

Shift up/shift down does make sense. I said that in reply to Stazik (or whatever his username is) above. And I've never "Lived" in Europe. Pretty much my experience with European vehicles is Britains double-deck bus system and cars exported to America.

1: The AK47 is an overhyped piece of total shit that only got a good reputation because at the time of its popularization, America's warbase was politicized; the M16 was pushed through production and into untrained soldier's hands because that got the president into office and because the war demanded soldiers more quickly than they could be trained. It has SINCE been refined into a respectable, usable weapons platform. The AK47 looks good IN COMPARISON to the M16, and the internet makes it out to be the coolest fucking thing since sliced bread. But it's not. 2: You didn't get the point at all... did you miss the "If they exist in the SA" part? I was referring to weapons like the OTS22, a 9mm machine pistol that I'd rather have a M1911 compared to. -

The only probably with wanting to hardcore, stick-to-character-at-all-times in the SA for me is ditching things like the M16 (or other American/NATO weapons) for inferior Russian ones, if any exist in the SA (since Kalashnikovs supposedly take little maintenance and the character I described above would be better trained with them than anything "The West" uses) -
Modifying the AI can be done server-side without making people install any mods. In fact, there's a lot of mods made specifically so clients (players) don't need them. And scripts can change mechanics like speed for entities, in this case zombies, to make them move slower. The only problem is the zombie walk animation, which would still play at normal speed (so you'd have moonwalking zombies)
