Rename this "There's no reason to hack, we spawn shit in for you!" and you'll be about halfway to never getting a decent player to ever join your server ever in the history of time ever. I wish I had the Bandwidth to DDoS... Can I have a Vodnik with hydra missiles? Ooh and a SCUD missile. What about a 20mm cannon? And it goes "Nyanyanyanyanyanyan" whenever I fire. (That's more realistic than free guns)

Is this method doable in Steam? What about for other games? (not to steal the thread from the OP, of course)

Regardless of the repetitiveness of the thread, I completely agree; choosing a spawn absolutely 100% goes against everything Rocket got my support for saying. He said he wanted disorientation, confusion, distrust, not massive cross-map TeamSuck assholes making it IMPOSSIBLE to do ANYTHING in Eleketro/Cherno without five assholes respawning over and over again to fight you. >.>

...seriously, people kick you for playing the game? (which is what raiding is; don't build a giant fucking tower on Green Hill and NOT expect to get attacked) I can't suggest any, since I only play DayZ Vanilla. I can say, however, I feel your pain, and I hope you find a good server soon.

Vanilla = best, in my opinion. Most of the annoying little KoS kiddies have moved off to Overwatch/Epoc/Etc due to the REDICULOUS and ungodly amount of scripts (self bloodbag, auto refuel, et cetera). The only not vanilla I can recommend is Namalsk, which is a fun map unto itself, but good luck finding a good server on it that isn't plagued with the aforementioned trouble of too many stupid scripts making it take 500 hours to load into a server. >.> (oh and I guess Panthera is a good map to mention, but like I said, good luck finding a half-decent server for it) The trader system introduced in the other "flavors" is an entirely rediculous concept in that players should be forced to trade with EACH OTHER, instead of sitting in stupid god mode zones magically turning a bar of a gold and a M4 into a Vodnik. (If you DO play on a server with traders, however, BUY A VODNIK. THEY ARE INVINCIBLE)

So far as I know, it will be 1:1 with real life (so 1 hour in life is 1 hour in game), just like the official servers are supposed to run.

Protip: "Copy as plain text" doesn't make your text look like... that on the forums. :) 1: When you say "ArmA 2," do you mean A2 or are you using that as short for ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead? I don't know what causes it, but it's a massive pain in the ass. 2: There's an incongruity between your registry's serial number and the one Steam/BI gave you. I don't know the fix, just the problem (which, I admit, isn't very helpful) I can say only that I've suffered from these problems as well and they're a pain in the ass. Verifying my game cache (if you have Steam), running ArmA 2 on its own, and then running ArmA 2 OA with ArmA 2 (as Combined Operations) seems to make it go away, temporarily.

When did KoS become popular? When DayZ did.

Game was *released yesterday; this is the hotfix. See, if you take the number of words written, and divide that by Rocket's name over DayZ times 2, you'll see Half Life 3 Confirmed. (I wrote "Realized" the first time. Sorry!)
