Once a hacker always a hacker; forgive people's lack of motivation for helping you. Your lot did make DayZ (and still does) incredibly hard to enjoy. That being said: Maybe, maybe not. -
Pff, that pile of 24/7 daytime servers full of hackers and bullshit scripts, crying children, more hackers, and awful, AWFUL extra-mods that made starting out so confusing and scary for new players that ultimately detracted from the game they attempted to improve? Jk. DayZ Mod <3; now that it's not mainstream, I can start playing.

There will be gun customization, as well as tags/patches/vehicles. Not in release, but a confirmed feature. The only kind of anything I'm interested in, as far as you're asking, is ghillie shrouds.

Can I take my GUID to another machine?

I don't know if GUID is linked to your registry, Steam, or your profile (in ArmA). So Maybe, yes, no respectively. -

Listen: You know how there's Dayz, and then there's Breakingpoint, Epoc, Overwatch, Origins, and 10000 million other things? Figure out which one adds the Mozzie, install that. -

The little helicopter IS NOT part of vanilla DayZ. Have you downloaded and installed the EXTRA mod IN ADDITION TO DayZ that adds it? -

Go into editor. Spawn a mozzie. Get in, take off, fly around? Look up DaiZy (a singleplayer mod for ArmA 2) with a version that includes whatever version of DayZ includes the Mozzie. -
