Obviously, you haven't tested the in game settings at all. Full gamma slider + clouds disabled = dark game Full gamma slider + clouds "Very low" = able to see everything -

They are designed to provide light so playing at night is more atmospheric, not the miserable experience it is in the mod, which is why I play with clouds on "Low" instead of "Off" until day time is finally available. -
Change your steam community name (IE, when I log into Steam my username is bitsby_ but everyone that views my profile/sees me playing a valve name is shown "Apple Jaxc," and I appear as such on all friends lists)

It's probably the most rare item I have in my inventory at the moment; all bragging rights aside, I'm curios. I full-well expected it to be a gimmicky rubber nothing that replaced my helmet while offering no protection; instead I have come to discover that my motorcycle helmet and my pay day mask are wearable at the same time?! I'm assuming, in that case, that the PDM doesn't offer any protection (and if anything, makes people WANT to kill you more...) I'm not going to lie and say my 1337 D@yZ skills found the mask; I looted it off a dead body (I SWEAR the body was dead when I found it) Although it was mostly my 1337 D@yZ sk1||z -

People complaining about the scarcity of loot must really suck at the game; I'm finding food faster than I can eat it, I've got a crowbar, a mosin nagant, a helmet, jacket, winter pants, a pay day mask, and 3 melee weapons in my backpack after a few hours. -

As fans of the game, it is our duty to bitch, moan, and whine about everything to ensure the highest quality product is eventually achieved. If we did not act like ungrateful children, begging for dinner all afternoon only to declare our disgust for vegetables at the table, we would be failing Rocket, his team, this community, fellow gamers, and ourselves. -

Makes sense. Makes me feel less bad about eating every fresh fruit, box of cereal, and can of sardines I found on my way through Chernogorsk today. Damn if I'm going to let other players eat. >.> Oh, and I rip all the clothing I find into bandages. :) -
So, it IS a container, albeit an inconvenient one? So I should always keep some bandages in my pocket in case of emergency, and save the medkit for when I can really sit down and bandage up? Thanks Steak.

IRL, I can open a can of beans with nearly anything...

You can smack a can of beans against the ground without spilling too much; I think opening by hand (no tools involved) should cause you to get an opened can with 75% of its contents in store. But dude there's bananas and oranges (the pristine kind, not the rotten badly damaged trash) everywhere. -

Still-living zombies are lootable There's random dead players everywhere... (I got a motorcycle helmet, jacket, backpack, compass, sunglasses, pay day mask, Mosin Nagant, ammo, and a wrench, most of which is from dead people)
