There are a LOT of people wanting to know if their computers are good enough to run DayZ, which is an understandable enough concern when it comes to spending real money on a product you aren't sure will work as intended. Don't worry about the game FPS wise; I've dropped to 10 before, and the game is-I kid you not-smoother than anything I've ever played on my laptop. The controls might be awkward, movement might be very strange, but the frames are smooth

No, I figured it out. Right-click 7.62, choose "Empty" to get 2 10 round magazines, then load THOSE into your Mosin (five at a time). I thought that the option "Empty" meant it was broken/just a placeholder

Two interesting weapons, 1 the worthy replacement of my #2 <3 MOD weapon (Lee Enfield), the other... a pistol (I just carried 6 bandages with me in the Mod). I looked up their damage values, and they're two interesting weapons. The Lee Enfield had an iffy sometimes-KO sometimes-kill to the chest; the FNX, according to my sources, has a very likely knock out chance in the chest and instant kill in the head. I'm curious; I want to know how risky dealing with players equipped with the above is, as opposed to say the likelihood of their melee weapons knocking me out. Knockout from being shot is when damage exceeds a certain value, right? Like, losing X+ blood = knock out regardless of what health you're in?

I've spawned in as a "fresh spawn" only once; I immediately exited, loaded another server, and got my fireaxe/mosin back.

That's why you use a Mosin to one-shot them, or beat the hell out of them while they're in their inventory (such as if you say "Hey here's a free X, Y, Z" and as soon as they crouch down to get it you muder them to death in the face)

1: Melee combat; I literally can only hit things standing on my right side (left click and hold left click 90% of the time swing to the right, regardless of anything) 2: Zombies walking through the floor. While this is convenient for looting two+ story buildings, it makes supermarkets impossible. 3: Melee combat. Seriously. I have a fucking fireaxe. Let me kill something with it. 4: Mosin Nagant's bugged description (I can't tell what condition mine is in and thusly don't know when I should replace it with new ones I find) 5: Melee Combat.
