You forgot a few things: 1: Disable Steam community in-game, sign out of friends, etc to prevent possible bandwidth bottleneck 2: -high will run DayZ at "High" status, meaning it has a bigger priority for your CPU to update/keep track of than other programs *2 leads to potential system instability and infrequent-though life endangering-stuttering, not worth the potential 1-2 FPS boost for most computers. Sorry for anyone that this has inconvenienced.

Self defense doesn't including logging out. Oh and guess what? ANOTHER bastard in Balota combat logged when I rejoined after that upload. I said I was friendly, we both had M4s, he even had the drop on me... he went prone, so I circled around him and said I was friendly-again-and said we could be friends. I should have shot him in his combat-logging ass.

How would he know? I know I have a distinctive, manly voice that likely inspired confidence and heroics in him, but that's still a little far fetched. :) So that there's a 100% combat logger kill rate

Don't team up; everyone you team up with will pressure you into becoming the very kind of asshole you hate! When joining a server, filter by player count. Join servers <15 and loot low-intensity areas (small towns other than Kamenka) until you've got a backpack, melee weapon, and those annoying "You are thirsty" messages go away, then change to a 30+ player server and really play the game

You'd be better off complaining to Bohemia Interactive directly or submitting a ticket in the DayZ Standalone official Bohemia Interactive bug report directory (J F Christ that's a mouthful)

Hi. :) So, are you trapped out in the ocean with no way to kill yourself except slow, slooow starvation? Glitched into something you can't seem to escape? just feel like starting over? I'd like to see the ability, under the "Character" tab, to hit the Respawn button or otherwise set it so that when I next join the public hive, my character is back in his "Default" clothes, rather than having to waste my time running around until I find a zombie or something to jump off of.

You don't; it's a fucking game and people who bitch, cry, and moan about getting KoS'd should get over it. Granted, the amount of KoS to not KoS ratio is terribly lopsided, and 70% of the game's fun is interacting with other players in ways OTHER than firefights, it's just a video game. Don't like it? Buy something else. -

I'm sad to say, that will never happen; every single clothing item and animation would have to be redone to accommodate a new skeleton capable of utilizing the ArmA 3 system. I'd like to see it (the "sit" mode of prone +1 would make sniping into Cherno/Elektro a lot easier) -

...? 1: Thank you for explaining more patiently to him than I could 2: I don't know where the post is-it's buried under a certain someone's ranting about the video not having any combat logging in it-I apologized to another forum member for the lack of professionalism and class therein. I'm trying to find it but I can't. I full well understand how you feel; my word choice was... very harsh, and didn't fit the situation at all.
