Weapons being ruined is a feature Rocket talked about in various devblogs/interviews. I don't know if it was implemented from the start/implemented and overlooked in the devblog. It's possible. I've never had my gun shot.

That isn't working for me... maybe handguns are all just buggered? I'm sorry I can't help. Have you tried loading magazines into a different pistol? Your FNX might be broken.

I think YOU must be blind not to foresee the obvious abuse this is going to take. Server hop on 2 characters, log one of them out somewhere, put the other one in that location and kill yourself, sign in as the first and safely transfer your ill gotten goods to a cheat account.

It's only a handicap when other players are using 3RD which is why 1st person only servers are awesome! (ALTHOUGH looting is a pain in the ass for the tops of shelves and whatnot) -

I did join a population 5 server just to get out of Cherno safely. Unfortunately one of those 5 was a server hopper or just got lucky.

*their And it's a legitimate question. Servers go down all the time, random storms, or plain old Internet saying "Fuck you!" happens to people more often than your Utopian connection would suggest.

Did this update wipe any characters? I lost a fully kitted avatar in Skalitzky. Logged out with M4A1 and 7 magazines (assorted STANAG, CMAG, 10 and 30 round magazines), logged back in on the beach near Cherno. ??? -
I've read that, and I'm looking forward to it. It's not going to help with KoS, it's just going to make banditry a lot more challenging and less douchy (IE, not 3rd person to look around walls and all that crap)

I haven't seen Jarhead. I have seen jarheads with it on at Camp Schwab, Okinawa Japan and it didn't look like they were having fun at the time.
