ArmA is an intensive engine that does not take advantage of the full power of your CPU or GPU.

If fireworks were unlabeled, how pissed would you be if you played all day looking for fireworks in a bandit filled town, finally got one and some matches, light if off... and it's one of those fucking snake things South Park made an episode about?

Dean has said-many times! are you living under an Internet rock?!-that there will be a system by which all official servers will keep track of how many of each item has been spawned, and will stop spawning items accordingly. IE, if he wanted the game to be difficult, you could limit only 50 M4A1s to exist in the game at any one time, meaning that not all 1 million players are going to have everything.

Not until the global loot system is implemented. I don't want every asshole bandit squad using TeamSuck server-hopping until they all have NVGs and bullshit like that.

This post is basically every single reply to every single KoS thread, except you thought it was worth getting its own thread-even though there's been million of posts complaining about threads complaining about KoS complaining. I'd make a "Yo dawg we heard you like complaints" joke, but it's 3 AM and I want to go play Battlefield. ...what am I doing with my life? XD

I don't know. I saw a post saying that server hopping is a legitimate tactic and there should be a denotation in the server browser saying if the server has a lot of loot left or not. -

The "Play" button goes to whatever server you were on last, not to a random server. And matching you to "Skill level" is total bullshit and doesn't belong in DayZ. If you aren't good, you better get good. -

I put a bunch of rotten fruit in one of those gold briefcases (Protector Case?) and left it somewhere. I came back in an hour and found a dead body next to it. I don't think he actually died from eating my fruit, but it was pretty amusing. -

The game would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy. (playing at night with the gamma turned up already makes zombies basically scenery pieces)

Realism/fidelity, mostly. If people weren't assholes with 24/7 day servers and gamma cheats (partly the fault of how damned dark the SA is right now), 24:24 with a moon cycle that matched real life's would make an incredibly strategic element to the game.
