It's a joke. Calm down. IGN is the last place to go to for reviews. Everyone knows this.

While I agree that Skyrim did not live up to its series, you missed the joke. The fact is that they give Skyrim a shit rating and say that it's a copy-paste of other RPGs, but they praise CoD, NOTORIOUS for changing nothing about their game title-to-title, props for "New innovations" that don't exist.

I Can't Change/View My Character/Name?

The only changes I've made to my config files has been the normal GPU max frames ahead/detected frames ahead changes to improve FPS. There's no profile changing in the main menu, which is where I've gotten use to doing it in Arma, and all PC games. It started after adding -world=empty to my launch parameters, but I've since removed it. I've tried that. I've used Steam for a long time. That is literally the first thing I check. Hi Orlok. :) -

Well let's see. I need to kill an animal to get its parts. I need a weapon to kill an animal. Once the animal is dead and I have it's parts... there's no point in making a "Primitive weapon" from it; I've already got a firearm or a fire axe.

Android FTW :) It's unrealistic for people that AREN'T in your base to magically know that another player is. TeamSpeak/Skype/etc are the pinnacles of nonrealism. Get rid of those before anything.

Download the ones you want to play. When choosing a server, use only the modpack the server uses (so if you joining an Overwatch server, you only use Overwatch modfiles). DayZCommander installs mods to different locations. -
