I do want this, but I know it's a dream that will never come to realization; too much work on a fundamental that's likely a stuck-and-fast system forever in DayZ.

It fires .22 ammunition. Why the hell would you expect it to? It's a varmint rifle that fires training-pistol diameter ammunition. It's for shooting bunnies and squirrels, or players you don't want to hear you.

I was in a Walmart at 10 PM in Barstow, California once (where I NEVER want to go back!). Two women of African descent entered, walked into the kids' isle (where I was watching my 4 year old step sister) and all I hear from them is, "Hey N*** u see dat Hello Kitty? That's the shit, g!" Barstow, California. Home of the Crackhead Littleleague, where there is literally 3 McDonalds on one street.

It isn't an issue of them being cowards; it's an issue of them being cheaters. Cheaters deserve nothing except having their copies of the game given to people that aren't assholes.

*their *you're Regardless of whether it is "Just a game" or not, if I sit down for entertainment, I expect entertainment. It isn't fun to die, I don't like to die, and I'd be perfectly content never to die in DayZ, but that doesn't mean I have to cheat to do it, which combat logging is. Cheaters have no right.

Meaning that combat logging is denying people who have spent perfectly good time and money from enjoying DayZ.

That's absolutely a bullshit argument. It's like when people play on a Minecraft server with PvP enabled and cry about "Griefing" if they get killed (but their creations are left intact); you KNOW what the game entails, so there is no excuse.

Absolutely agree. There is no fucking point in playing this game if you're just going to log out as soon as another player tries to have some fun.

I'll admit I misread, but hollow points, +P, et cetera are confirmed features, including the ability to load a magazine with mixed ammunition types (alternating HP and AP for example)

Lol. Someone obviously hasn't played ArmA 2. Also, FN Herstal isn't an American company. Also, again: Grach sells military firearms, not civilian ones; I would think that the 443, the Viking, and all the other pistols that company makes would only be available to the military and criminal elements. But to answer your question, they're in development. Do you not know what DayZ ALPHA means?

Oooh ooh... how about they replace the crashed airplane in Cherno with the wrecked ship. That would be one hell of a story... and they add a submarine in the NWAF... No but in all seriousness yes I'd like to see more of these "Landmark" features, and not just in cities! There should be stand-alone things out in the wilderness as well. The devs must be careful to keep the landmarks, if not few, definitely far between; it could quickly become too easy to navigate or they could feel too commonplace to serve their purpose.

While the map certainly isn't small, major cities and the airfields are far too close together (even with map changes, the Cherno-Elektro-Skalistksyasdlkjalkdja-airfield run isn't difficult, even without vehicles in-game). The cities are too dangerous (which can't be fixed, and shouldn't be) and the wilderness is too barren (which can be fixed, but probably shouldn't be)

You're new (I'm guessing by the post count), so you probably haven't come across the distinction. Here, RPG is used in the sense of "Role playing" games, in which the closest thing to roleplaying you actually do is decided if which stat you want to increase and if you want to choose the asshole or nice person response in dialogue, but ultimately have little control over anything. Role-Playing games is the distinction used for games such as Dungeons and Dragons, in which anything goes-there is not "Choose dialogue option A, B, C" and you have the power to go where you want when you want, DM permitting-or games such as DayZ, where anything goes to the extent of the engine's capabilities and restrictions, where the roleplaying elements are literal role-playing; are you a Hero, a Bandit? Et cetera, as apposed to "Yay I just leveled up, time to kill X number of zombies for the next four hours to level up again!"

But the vests w/ pouches DO offer protection IRL, just not much, and armor in IRL has pouches.

The Egyptians don't use Flacktarn, and the game takes place in Chernarus, not the Czech Republic. I'd like to see Yeger camo as well. I believe KLMK (I don't know how to spell it, only that I pronounce it Kill-Milk) is the camo on the Russian military uniforms.

No. It makes sense for an RPG, not for this role playing game. Yes, there's a distinction.
