I play DayZ with 2 people, and other than choosing the same server (communication through Steam), our characters always meet up in the same spot and as soon as we're in game it's game-chat only.

1. Inability to see players around objects while in 3rd person, would make "Regular" servers worth playing. Currently a mod and script that work flawlessly exist in ArmA 3 that does this; LOS is drawn for players and any entity that can't be seen by your character can't be seen by the player. 2. Better sounds, like Speed of Sound v2 for ArmA 3. Adds echo, reverb, and real punching-nails-in-concrete level sounds. 3. More zombies with randomized, lower-spectrum stats. IE, most zombies being weak (less bullets needed than player) and slow (can move at "Combat pace" but not a sprint), though with plenty of "normal" zombies that are in DayZ already breaking away from the pack to run players down. 4. Sprinting uphill. 5. Ability to assemble/disassemble static weapons (machine guns on tripods, etc) and transport them in backpacks. 6. Firearm plethora. If I ever end up running my own server, there are going to be guns, guns, GUNS of all types, shapes, and calibers spawning, at significantly reduced rates (so there's a lot to choose from but everything is harder to find). 7. Clothing plethora. Same as firearms... but for clothes. 8. Food plethora. More fruits, vegetables, canned goods, et cetera. 9. Because I'm forever alone on a bad laptop, probably anything that adds AI (if it's still possible to have "people" in Dayz) 10. Maps. Unfortunately maps are going to splinter the playerbase significantly, along with gameBreakingPoint, Boringin, Panthetic, Lingbored, and all the other crap that came out for DayZ MOD.

Yes, it does. It would get revoked from .au without refund. There's some cool blood gurgling sound affects/bursting capillaries/bone breaking in the Speed of Sound (and v2) mod for ArmA 2 and 3... it also makes the weapon sounds not suck. But no, I don't think this is necessary. It's a video game. The people that find murdering fellow survivors in KoS reprehensible already don't do it. The people who don't care will continue to not care.

Who said I thought the player was hostile? If I did I would have shot him immediately, not risked getting close to him. Giving someone a "gift" and then hacking them apart is for fun not self-defense, as well as to take their gear. It has nothing to do with being intimated by someone.

Are you saying KoS is better? Because that's what you're suggesting. How isn't it realistic? If someone had a gun and I had a knife, I'd sure as hell try to trick them to get close and go for the neck.

Neither Pakistan was probably my 2nd least favorite map (right behind Lingor, or whatever the crap tropical island one was) and I'm not interested in seeing a return of a desert map; even in ArmA 3 it's obvious how bad open, barren maps are.

Not everyone knows that something is "Ruined" by looking at it. And you could do it with any clothing/item. "Here's some food." As soon as they open their inventory, start chopping.

1. I don't trust SSDs. I don't. 2. I'm not concerned with color calibration fixing brightness; those are 2 completely unrelated issues. I want the color correction for photo editing. I want to make sure the anti-glare screen isn't too dark. I wasn't suggesting one would affect the other. 3. If I buy headphones (which I inevitably will), I already know from experience what brand/model I can trust. 4. Thank you.
