I meant along the coast to move into the city and kill the bandits in question. I didn't mean from the south-east to the north-east killing every unarmed player in question.

Nothing. Killing normal survivors for no reason makes you an asshole. On the other hand, vs. bandits/survivor-killers: 1-100 meters: PP-901M (I don't know its in-game name). The suppressor + 64 round magazine makes bad aim a non issue, plus you can stealthily kill a player to loot them without zombie troubles AND walk up to them and tell them what an idiot they are for shooting other players. 101-200 meters: FN FAL; nothing survives a 3-round 7.62 burst. The sights are superb for ranges up to 400 meters. Can destroy engines/tires. Most bandits carry FN FALs around, so ammo is plentiful. 201-300 meters: M24/DMR/Cz 550. The gun itself and the ammo for all three are very common. DMRs and M24s can share ammo, so upgrading from the M24 to the DMR is easy. Mildots = accuracy at any range. 301-et cetera: AS50. The M107 has too much recoil to be a consistent anti-personal or anti-vehicle weapon.

Looks like a script is just being executed; "Removeallweapons this" is a command I use in almost every mission so I can use "This addweapon XXX" to customize load outs. Does your readme/list tell you who is activating the script? A user, or the mission?

Has this ever happened before? Did you change any graphics settings? Do other games experience this effect? I've done a lot of modding/mission making, and I can't recall anything you could script (which is what "hackers" do, making their title a misnomer) that would have that effect.You could make a sepia, black-and-white, blue-tint, or similar graphic effect, but not stretched and distorted WTFness. Did your PC go through some change, recently? New GPU/graphics card?

I'm going to say this as nicely as possible: You're really bad at reading. The private, password-protected server was only occupied by the set builders, designers, and actors. There was NO ONE on the server who wasn't part of the recording, editing, or publishing process. We weren't playing the game; we were using it to make videos. At what point, in ANY of my posts, did you get the impression we were killing other players?

1.5GHz won't run ArmA 2; the recommended specs are something like 2.1-2.6GHz, right? My Toshiba laptop hardly runs it @2.1GHz on minimal settings with a Intel integrated GPU. 1.5GHz with a low-end graphics card (your PC) is just... no. Just no. Buy a new PC. Check fire stations (grey buildings with a rectangle 4-story tower on one side) for guns, then stay as far away from big cities as much as you can. Trust no one.

Again. :) So the general consensus is, even if its not hurting anyone, and it's 100% for Machinima purposes and not actual gameplay cheating whatsoever, it's against BattlEYE policy, so the ban is justified? Fair enough. I don't see anyone playing Devil's Advocate with me, so I guess the argument/debate/whatever is over.

We once had day of the babies. That was a disaster... I was working on a mod in ArmA that would create a 1:2 ratio for new character skins, so I could make "Child soldiers," literally kid-sized soldiers. I was still working on the skins... Well I left my @Babies running when I launched the server. After everyone taking half an hour to automatically install the dam mod themselves (whoops), we (friends and I) went on a raid to the SW Airfield. An army of zombie children...just...it was horrible... We also experimented with a gamemode called "Tag," where one guy flies a Huey full of 40 zombies that can HALO/parachute-drop them whenever/wherever he wants and control them with the normal group commands. Every 10 minutes the zombies respawn in the helicopter-usually. There were problems with zombies spawning next to the copper or above it, and falling like bloody meteors into the ground. This coupled with the fact that fall damage was disabled on zombies to prevent running downhill as a way to kill zombies, made ODST zombies a cruel reality.

That was good until the Czech bag. You might as well just disable backpack spawning on your server, seeing as there's only 2 bigger than that.

The way DayZ is all set up... I'm so bad with .pbos, I forget sometimes I have Notepad++ installed at all. XD We made one where you get a random backpack/gun/sidearm/ammo/et cetera and no gear spawns in the map; only zombies and vehicles had anything on them. That as intense; every bullet counted. The only problem was, sometimes you'd be given more gear than you could hold, and your inv wouldn't sho wit. If you dropped something out of your inventory, it was automatically replaced by the next item that was "added" to your inventory. If you dropped your backpack and another one spawned on you, you'd either die or BattlEYE would kick you with a 5 minute warning. We got BattlEYE disabled and restarted... mass chaos. No one had ammo. Couldn't reload my axe anymore.

Well contrary to popular belief, humans can't devote all of their money to video games and hobbies when they have to juggle rent, commuting, taxes, food, water, electricity, property taxes, medicine, dates, donations, and helping your family. Yeah, money does a lot of things. Sometimes there isn't enough spare money or time. --anyway-- So your defense is ohmygosh, multiplayer doesn't work? Pff... First of all, there's noSteam and DarkSteam, to name the two most infamous steam-hating groups that I know of, who use Tunngle to connect gamers without CD keys. What was that Lemon one that was used for COD 4? It got in a bunch of trouble until it moved to "The Cloud" where it was essentially untouchable. You can still play COD 4 for free without downloading it (although the streamed version is considerably laggier than normal). Do some google searches. Should I continue? I do not mean to be rude, or challenge your intelligence, sir, but do some research. Steam isn't needed for Steam games. There's ways around everything. Ever read the story about Alexander and the Gordian Knot?

Furthermore... Has anyone played on a server with a M1A1 Abrams? PMC armored SUV + minigun? AH6 + hydra pods? APC? BMP? On one hand, it ruins the game because they're a pain in the ass and don't belong in the zombie apocalypse, but also fun because the guerilla-warfare of collecting satchel charges, LAW missiles, and the food to hide, wait, attack, and run is a real challenge. Imagine some jerkface Bandit driving his BVM (it's like the Russian BMPs, but it can shoot flares from its main cannon) down Elektro, killing everyone with the coaxial machine guns, suddenly exploding in a giant, screaming fireball? One of the best parts of DayZ is listening to some a*shole cuss you out for the few seconds he gets before his microphone cuts out.
