So I just finished playing on my server at 71.53.228.93 port 2302, hostname Applejaxc. I was in Cherno with Ethan and Sologorsk (or whatever his name is). Ethan drove his UAZ out of the NWAF into Cherno and gave me a blood transfusion. I gave him some DMR mags, then jumped into his car and drove away. A few minutes later, I was going to one of the firestations and this crazy motherfu RAN IN FRONT OF ME and got run over. Panicked, I knew I had to finish him off; he opened fire with his DMR into the back of the UAZ. I changed to the passenger seat, hopped out, and went into the fire station. While he was fighting off zombies with a broken leg, I went upstairs and dropped him with an AKM. ;( So sorry Ethan. Your ghillie and my AK are still on your body. I have your DMR, map, and M9SD.

I can cut your time into 1/3 by running between 3 firestations and a supermarket in Elektro or 2 stations and a supermarket in Cherno. Guaranteed backpack and assault rifle.

So I was hanging out near the SWAF, getting ready to log off. I was driving a UAZ full of supplies, but since I was already decked out (Ghillie, NVGs, FAL, M24) I decided that I might as well leave it near the SWAF for anyone to take. I park, hop out, run off the tarmac and head for somewhere safe to logout when someone opens fire. Panicked, I dropped prone and spun around, FAL set to burst. A player with a M1911 jumped from the bushes and shot wildly at the car. I don't know what his problem was... So I teach him a lesson about wasting free cars by pulling my M9SD and breaking his legs. I ran up behind him, bandaged, and pricked him with an Epi-Pen to wake him up after taking his M1911. I was prepared to give him a speech on indecency when his mic suddenly kicked in, coming out of unconsciousness. The conversation was something like: "I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else." "Someone else?" "Yeah. A UAZ ran me over this morning. I didn't mean to wreck your car." "Don't worry about it; happens all the time. There's gear in the back to fix it up anyway. Let me blood bag you." I went into the car and came out with medicinal supplies. I managed to achieve the hero skin (losing my ghillie but keeping my backpack??) as I helped him up. "Sorry I broke your legs." "Nah, it's fine... can you give me a lift somewhere?" "The car is free man." "I'm not good at driving. Can you bring me somewhere safe? I want to set up a camp." With a sigh, I decided to spare another hour of my night and drove him up into the mountains overlooking the road between Cherno and Elektro (the best place to AS50 cars and helicopters, by the way). As we were getting up there, he said, "Hey get out, I want to grab some gear from the car." I stopped the car and walked to the outcroppings of rocks that provided such amazing cover, keeping an eye on him with the FAL. He pulled a MP5SD from the car and shot me like a a*shole, knocking me unconscious. I woke up quickly and pegged him in the leg, not killing him. He jumped into the car and tried to run me over. With no better way to defend myself, I went prone... ...and the car sailed over me... ...and off the mountain... ...and over the trees... ...and into the road, where it exploded killing the driver instantly. I bandaged and got up. I almost broke my legs several times on my way down to the wreck. His dead body was laying in the grass, my exploded UAZ on the road. Motherfu...

If players didn't run back to their bodies, it wouldn't be. If the players died that close to the coast, anyway, that they could just run back to their bodies, then they're: 1: Too noobish to leave the coast 2: Bandits 3: Pussies You can't help players being lazy pricks. Tents are a fantastic idea, although they should be disabled after you die (so that you can't loot your stuff back, which is freaking stupid). The problem is most likely in your .init or mission.sqf or whatever it is on the DayZ side; you aren't letting the script load correctly. Use -debug (I think) to run the server in debug mode, try joining, and tab out to the black CMD window that runs with the server information. What errors pop up?
