If they are public servers then most of them start like "UK 222" or "NL 234" Try to play on those kinds of servers for a lower chance of admin abuse. You could always ask an admin to monitor your logs. A good public server will have active and helpful admins with either thier own forum or Teamspeak Channel or both! If you are genuinely not hacking the logs might indicate what you are doing wrong.

Try and pick servers that have thier own forums. Then if you get banned just go to that forum and ask for details. Always be polite and Never be abusive or demanding. If it has happened on several servers there might be something suspicious running in the background on your PC. Do you share your computer with anyone else? What is the ban message you recieve? Is it an auto response or is it an actual admin banning you. Normally if it's an admin you might get a human response like (stop teleporting you numpty) Also a list of servers you have been banned from would be nice

Game Crashing When Overclocked [HELP?!?!?!]
ravey replied to FlowBrah's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
There is a lot more detail in cities. Plus zombies plus random players wandering around. All this puts a strain on your hard drive and GPU. Just keep adjusting settings until you get high frame rates -
We may as well get our 50p in too. UK 498! Team Old Skool. We are a casual gaming community that is currently running a DayZ public server. We have our own Teamspeak server too so we are quite happy to take on new players. Our server only supports 42 players so slots get filled up pretty quick. The game time runs at GMT -5 so it gets dark around 10pm. Feel free to look us up

Game Crashing When Overclocked [HELP?!?!?!]
ravey replied to FlowBrah's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Okay I've via google that the Radeon 7850 runs between 44 to 49fps at 1920 x 1080 on Very High settings. So either turn down your settings or your resolution for better frame rates -
Game Crashing When Overclocked [HELP?!?!?!]
ravey replied to FlowBrah's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Actually, if you go in game and click on the Advance button in video settings. Then just above the resolution settings there is another setting that you need to disable. I can't remember what it's called but it should improve performance. The only other thing I can suggest is putting all video settings to low then slowly ramp them up until you hit between 40 - 50fps Actually you could try the Radeon site and see if they have a suggested video setting for ArmA 2 for your GPU -

Have you tried lowering your resolution? -
Game Crashing When Overclocked [HELP?!?!?!]
ravey replied to FlowBrah's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
It could be the hard drive. I was having a lot of issues with my old WD 500 gig hard drive. It would run other games fine but not ArmA. If you have an SSD I would suggest uninstalling then reinstalling to your SSD. If you don't have an SSD, then you should think about investing in one. If your WD Black is under 5 years old it could still be under warrantee. take it to a local PC repair shop and get a diagnostic on it. And get it replaced if it is faulty. -
looking for small group, lots to offer :)
ravey replied to Oliver Riedel's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
Team Old Skool have a public Server on UK 498. Give myself or another admin a shout on side chat (well text don't VoIP ) and we can introduce you to the group and and get you on our Teamspeak server too There's about 7 of us playing DayZ every night, the more the merrier though. -
I think I read somewhere that DayZ will not be running their own servers. It will be a similar situation that we have now. This is why I thought they were introducing strongholds? So players have a global save point to keep gear safe when switching to different servers. This is just an assumption from what I have read though.

Team Old Skool is a long standing gaming community that supports all games that it's members want to play! We currently have several players playing The DayZ mod, so if you are a casual gamer who just wants to have a laugh while trying to survive for longer than 5 minutes, come and give us a shout. We have members across Europe but we are an English speaking community with our own Teamspeak server. You can find our forums at www.teamoldskool.com/forums Or on Facebook www.facebook.com/TeamOldSkool We also have a steam community page, just search for Team Old Skool Failing that just search for my name Ravey on steam and ill help you out!

We have admins on our server pretty much all day every day to monitor the server.

If anything, more spawn points need to be added to include the east coast to make Berzino more accessible. And maybe a spawn point at Novy Sobor too with a hospital added at Starey Sobor?
-
Try to type the web address manually or just google us and we should pop up. My steam name is Ravey, There is about 5 players in our community who play DayZ almost daily. Between 6pm and 11pm UK time.

Well if you use dayzcommander then just add my nick and you should be able to see me when I'm online. I do strongly advise you check out our forum though. Mainly we have been hanging around UK 360 and UK 219 servers We don't use Skype either but you can find our Teamspeak Chanel details in our forum

Hi DayZ I have heard and seen a lot of news about the new standalone version of DayZ but what about the mod? Currently it is still in Beta (right?). So will the mod ever be completed or will it be abandoned for the standalone? I have just spent £25 on buying ArmA 2 combined operations so I can join friends using the mod. None of them will be buying the standalone version at release and they are certainly not going to pay £30 for the standalone game. Why buy one game for £30 when you can buy/download 3 games for £25 or less? I don't expect a fully completed mod to be at the same quality or standard as a standalone game but I would still like to see a fully completed mod that is bug free!
