    Is this a purely cosmetic suggestion? More blood could also add to the game mechanics, where more blood in the area attracts more zombies. Or if you get blood all over you then the zombies could smell you easier.

    Hi guys, Imo, it would be a lot more realistic if zombies could charge you and tackle you to the ground. While on the ground the player would have to fight off the zombie to avoid further damage. They would only perform this move if you were running at them at full speed and they were running at you at full speed. Another good situation for this manoeuvre is if they come at you from the side at full speed while you are running. Also, if you got too close while trying to ride past on a bicycle, they could spear tackle or dive at you and knock you off.
