simplyphilip, I believe this is because they drastically lowered the rates of things spawning at crashes. Many crashes I go to, even on empty servers, are bone dry or have a few tin cans as a troll reward, and occasionally a medical box. you might need to set the rate of items themselves spawning. Unfortunately, to answer the host's actual question, I have no idea as to how to edit the loot tables.

So I have been snooping around some 1.7.6.1 servers on the public hive because they are usually empty, allowing me to go from place to place easily, I have found that many, when I spawn in alone, absolutely SURROUND me with heli crashes. They spawn very little loot, and pretty much follow me across the map wherever I go by spawning just outside my vision range as I walk along. Great farming, but why does it do this? It creates an absurd amount of zombies even in the most remote places. Think 20+ heli crashes within visible range, and you can't walk 300 yards without coming within spitting distance of one, even in random places like Misty Peak or Klen Mountain. NO I will not be giving away names or IP's of any specific server, but they are pretty easy to find if you look. Can anyone explain this phenomenon? It's only been happening since the 1.7.7 updates on 1.7.6.1 servers still connected to the public hive, and sometimes not even all of them. I will see if I can get a screenshot soon.

This post seems to be getting way too much hate. Thank you for creating a useful guide that taught me what Loot Cycling/Loot farming is. I probably would have never figured this out without you. However, just because I know what it is, doesn't mean I do it just to horde. I usually farm a military site shortly for basic weapons then go LOOKING to be killed. Makes the game more fun when you have a weapon equal to others.

yeah they have with 1.7.7. Good thing I held onto my two DMR's and my M40, worth a fortune now.

I've got an M40A3 and G36C. NVG's and perhaps rangefinders? Really only need the NVG *Scratch the G36, server restarted before I could get to the heli crash, but I still have the M40
