    DayZ "You are Dead" Sheet Music

    Depending if I find time, I may or may not take suggestions as to future pieces to arrange. I really like ones where no sheets seem to exist, or where arrangements are limited in scope, because I get to listen to the song 100+ times to write it down I am currently considering "Perfect Area Complete", the opening theme from "Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni", because the only worthy arrangement so far on youtube was someone who learned from ear, never wrote down the music, and can't satisfy demand from commenters. But I'll save this kind of stuff for the Non-DayZ sections of the forum.

    You are very welcome! I can't wait to see the final outcome if you do any edits. I am going to either attempt to play this myself or get a friend from school to give me a hand in producing this, but I'll see.

    DayZ "You are Dead" Sheet Music

    Thanks. I picked the quartet feeling partially because it was already written in that set, and partially because I wanted to convince myself I should teach myself cello just for this piece. I always needed an excuse, but haven't had the time or have been too lazy. You are right that it sounds a little angelic, but I believe that was because the music wasn't written FOR the game, but borrowed from another source. Thus the mismatch in feeling/tone/instrument selection. I still love the piece though, has lots of nostalgia for me. I may try a rewrite of the song at a future time, perhaps arrange it for piano instead. The Gentleman one came from my favorite English teacher, back in 9'th grade. Weirdest dude I've ever met. The efficiency one just came from one of those funny/motivational posters, I still have it on my old 3rd Gen Ipod touch. The last one was just a personal extra.

    DayZ "You are Dead" Sheet Music

    So a while back I created a string quartet arrangement of the death theme for DayZ mod. Turns out it was a song borrowed from a semi-obscure TV depiction of old Japanese horror stories (at least it was really freaking hard to find ANYTHING on the show, possibly due to lack of American imports). Anyways, I attached links for the PDF of sheet music, the .MIDI if you want to use it in Synthesia or electric keyboards, and an .MP3 for casual listening. Hope you enjoy! "Paintball/Airsoft" tournaments in DayZ

    I may attempt to reorganize this when I get the chance. I have been super busy with testing (ACT and SAT + Subject tests), so I haven't had much time. If I manage to find a low-pop private server I will definitely give this a shot again.

    so no one wants to do this? I waited and no one came, so I take that as a no.

    75 round drum mag removed from game

    Yes, I have seen the Prison Island guard rooms (above the workshop hallway to the prison yard) hyperlooted, although it was extremely rare (only one server of the 30-40 I hopped over a few days). Had AKS-74U's and AK-74's spilling out of the windows, and enough OREL uniforms to clothe an army. Don't even start on the MP5 magazines.

    Alright guys, the server is picked and I've got a bit of supplies to start. I still need you guys to find some more guns, I only have two trumpets and a sporter. Otherwise I have jackets so we can play a few rounds until they are all ruined and then just go pick up odds and ends shirts to play.: lastMPServer="142.111.2.174:2302";lastMPServerName="DayZ Roleplay - Rhinocrunch.com";

    I have an AK74 magazine and an AK101 magazine. Will trade for an MP5-usable optic (no BUIS). Must go through BRTC trader to ensure safety

    New weapon confirmed? VSS Vintorez

    I really would enjoy the VSS as a gun in this game. Although it is a bit out of place, being a SpecOps-only weapon, it would be a great "proving ground" for various spawning mechanics in the game. For example, the VSS was shipped by default with a PSO-1 telescopic sight, but could also use a special night-vision sight (the 1PN51, as it is called), as well as feed from 10 or 20rnd magazines. Given that the gun not only can but SHOULD spawn with attachments, it would be a good way to test spawning pre-attached goodies to a gun, and in different conditions. Also, I remember reading somewhere that the VSS, although it COULD fire in fully automatic at around 600rpm, was never designed to (added as an emergency feature). The weapon's internal systems (striker system, internal baffles of suppressor, even the frame of the gun) were really beat beat up when fired this way, drastically reducing accuracy or causing malfunctions after extreme misuse this way. It would be interesting to see two different systems of degradation based on usage (say, the gun could fire 1000 rounds automatic before ruined, but 3000 if only fired semiautomatic)

    NATO supressors

    I believe they do, but they will be American heli crashes only, similar to M4 attachments. Don't quote me on that though.
