I there any difference between regular civilian clothed zombies and the military ones with helmets and kevlar? By difference I mean regarding their health and whether those armored areas actually have an effect on how much damage your shots do. Reason I ask is because I put 2 makarov clips in a military zed earlier, including 2 or 3 headshots, and he didnt go down. I actually had to run away, and yes I'm sure I hit. Could it have been lag, or is their a difference?

Hi my name is Wallace, and I finally got DayZ today after weeks of watching youtube videos and making up my mind. Unfortunately, i cannot play. MY FPS is terrible. I mean Terrible. I have basically the same issue as most people posting about fps on here. Here's what I know. It doesn't matter what my graphics are set on, be it very low or very high. I'm getting the same terrible framerate. I recently learned that low settings affect things worse due to cpu strain, so now im using optimized settings from my system, shadows, AA, PP, Antio, all of those things low but I keep the quality setting on high. Video meory default, I cant remember the post but I'm using the setting from a thread called Actual working Dayz perfromance tips. I have gotten a decent framerate once, it was night time. All servers seem to have the same quality. I know you will need my specs to continue, and I will edit this post with them when I get home tomorrow, I'm on the laptop right now. Here' what I've done to try fix it. I've lowered all settings. No Effect. I've changed the 2 frame settings in the .cfg to 1. No effect. I've run Dayz off a virtual drive created using Dataram RAMdisk. No effect. My computer is not amazing but it is a gaming computer, built for gaming, albeit that was 4 or so years ago I had it built. The Unit should run this game, at least on lowered settings with a decent framerate. Thanks in advance for your time reading this and for your help.
