For those who havent read it(im assuming next noone on here :P) http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/post/36771692833/dev-report-november-2012 I absolutely love the dedication the staff has for this game. At the end, it states the release date may be moved so the game is exactly as they want it.. This is true developer pride. They strive for quality over profit, something truly lacking in the gaming industry these days. So i will say it openly; Thank you Dean, for striving for such a goal. And for having a backing of staff that i know strive for the same thing. i know this game is going to be one of the best games to come out over the next year or so. I love this game, and will continue to do so daily. And yes. I am a "fanboy" :P.

So, my brother , our friend and I were argueing about the game mechanics. According to them, server US 666 has increased spawn rates and is connected to the main hive. I argued that is not possible if its on the main hive, and it would have to be a private for the spawn rates to differ. Neither would budge in their thoughts, and are both convinced it has increased loot spawn from other servers because they have good luck on it. so i'm asking here. Whos right?

So currently, when you click on the "server control" option(this may be server side, but i tested on around 10 main hives and 5 privates), it instantly kicks you. while flying my heli, i somehow managed to hit shift P(no clue why i did, didnt even know what that hotkey did). i learnt its the hotkey for server control. why does it kick you? it should ask for a password, so things like this dont happen. seriously the dumbest thing ive ever experienced. ive lost alot of heli's, but not for something as dumb as that.... Im aware i can change the hotkey(and i now did, out right removed it tbh) but the way it kicks you should change.. Its completely unnecessary.

i like namalsk too, but, in place of the l85 thermal they have a railgun. it has 0 bullet drop and is a one hit kill... id almost rather a thermal. But personally i think the thermal should stay, they exist in real life, so its only fair they exist in the game. but they need to make it fair, batteries, or something along the lines. maybe it can be found as an attachment that fits only certain snipers - thus causing the rarity to skyrocket as you need to find a gun it works with AND the scope. even if its removed i wont be hurt, i never use it and probably never will.

One of my friends had found a as50 thermal the other day on a guy he killed, but when he logged on it was gone(main hive), so.. my question is, did the recent patch make it so hack weapons vanish? if so, THANK YOU! i could only laugh when he whined about it being gone from his inventory.

Noobtube = grenade launcher... havent you ever played COD :P. But yea im fully agreed sly, DMR is way better, i find it takes alot more skill as u have to account for bullet drop, not just change your zeroing.

If your using dayz commander any server that has a small cloud and a X in it is detached from the mainhive. make sure the "hide unofficial" box is unchecked first. as well, any map that is not chern is a private hive, some are tied together ; for example, all Vilayer servers will be tied together if its the same map. personal fav is a tie between panthera and namalsk. namalsk is a bit more challenging though as its much colder. very fun with the fear of freezing to death

i highly recommend http://dayzdb.com/map#5.102.125 to find out where good loot is. helped me out a lot when i first started.

hahahahahaha that was an awesome story, something ive yet to encounter is kidnapping. your still new though, it takes time to learn when to run, to submit, and when to fight. welcome to Dayz my friend, remember my name as i may one day stitch you up if needed haha :P

Tents save to server if im not mistaken. But for future reference, if your ever wondering about a gun being legit, http://dayzdb.com/database/weapons is one of the official lists. some private hives have other guns implemented though, so this is only good for main hive servers

Amen to that. warZ is just broken and a waste of money.. cant wait for the dayZ standalone so we can play a beaautiful zombie game. until than the mod will do the job just fine :) Obviously im not fully aware of the true reasoning, but i would guess its because you cant use any clothing with a female, and until its fixed they got removed? but i havent tried myself so it could either be a server thing or a small bug thats preventing it PS: Rocket, you have my purchase the day pre-orders are available my good sir :) hope to see em soon! keep up the outstanding work

go back to warZ than. its not even a third of the game dayz is, and dayz is a MOD currently. warZ will die off soon
