What the Fuck? I have NEVER had to play the way bandits want. I play the way I want and I am not a Bandit. In fact, have you not seen the numerours all friendly servers out there and servers crying out for more Bandits and all round bad guys? That is a gross over exaggeration though i guess it could feel like that if you aren't very good at the game.

I do agree with that, but as I mentioned, there are alot of ways to avoid a sniper or make their shot harder to take. You also have the advantage of being able to use cover and they have the disadvantage of some one sneaking up on them and shooting them in the back. As for getting shot on a beach by snipers... there are assholes every where and they will find a way to kill you. They could drive up and down the coast or fly and kill bambis all day. Doesn't mean you should dislike everyone who has a vehicle. Who really cares anyway, you didn't have any gear if your on the beach and you are likely to spawn some where else without a sniper watching you.

Well they weren't scared and defenceless. They had weapons and how do you know they were camping there (snipers)? It's pretty hard to camp on Namalsk due to all the peaks and if they had EVR occurences in the server, that would be even harder. Did you know there are snipers on DayZ? I sure as drokk did, and I play accordingly with that knowledge. If two of my team mates had been downed by a Sniper we would have taken different steps so that we all didnt die. Sounds like you are a lil sad because you don't like to get killed by other players, this is part of the game. They are obviously out to kill people, like many players are and I thank them for it, it's all the fun of the game. Don't have a cry about it, he was trying to show how stupid their tactics were and sounds like he is right. EDIT: All the whinging about snipers! They are on the loot table for most servers for a reason. You are aware of that so stop persecuting players when they choose to use them.

I would suggest playing Arma II to increase your skills, there is also an Armoury Mod that allows you to test alot of the weapons on a moving target (great to get to know how they respond). Watching videos of other players engaged in PvP never hurts and of course there is always practice :) PS: Getting killed enough will make you unleash your inner monster...

FYI: If you join a Public Server you may still not get a choice. I haven't been given a choice in months, but have been playing Public and Private Hives.

FYI Something that stopped me from bring up all the servers in DayZ Commander was when I refreshed all the Servers it would crash my modem. Turned out that there was not enough memory in my cache, and it would overload and shut down my modem, then all the servers would disappear or wouldn't show up at all. This really plagued me for a couple of days till I did some research. You need to lower your max connections in Commander Settings to approx 8. It will take longer to refresh all servers but it should work, I then suggest favoriting or staring the servers, so to avoid doing refreshes all the time. More like pussies with med range weapons not being aware of their surroundings, or using any group tactics and thinking there are no snipers in DayZ. Im sure they won't be the last guys to "show them".

I have been a Hero and Medic before and strived to be the one of the good guys, but after a while I realised I was only making things worse. All the people I helped, began to expect it, not appreciate it and not work for it. But as soon as you weren't there to help, they would whine and complain about it as if it is there gorram right to not have to fend for themselves. Because of the way the game is at the moment ie. Zombies are not a major threat, if you eliminate Banditry (which is a major threat), what are you really surviving against? In my opinion if you really want to help some body, dont be a Hero. Banditry is the best way to keep people on their toes and give them a better DayZ experience. After all what feels better: Killing/injuring a bandit that was chasing you or having a Hero give you a BB for doing nothing. Bandits teach you how to Survive. Hero's teach you how to Die.

Been waiting for a Zombie Survival Game, then I saw a review on DayZ and heard there were Bandits too. So naturally I downloaded straight away and loved every bit of it. Wish I could recapture that old feeling of everything being so new, exciting and rage inducing all at the same time. :)

I believe you need to install Arma II then OA after. If I am wrong hopefully some one will correct me.

The only way you would feel slightly guilty is if it was a really easy kill, but its the other players fault for making it too easy for you. In fact when I see someone who is too comfotable looting or not being aware of their surroundings, I will shoot them just to teach them a lesson, it is afterall DayZ.

It depends if they were watching the server at the time and what kind of server it is.. I'm guessing cause there is no PvP that it is a PH or maybe Whitelisted? I would check with the admins or the forum team for a quick response, I also suggest playing on real sever that does allow PvP, thus getting the true DayZ experience.

I think if you are new comer to the game and already choosing to dull it down to learn, then you will never learn to deal with ALL the risks a vanilla server has (not talking about hackers). Taking some risky elements out of this game only breeds pussy players.

Umm... where does it say it's the only way? He said he's not even a bandit. I think someone is a little upset because they get killed by bandits...
