    I died all the time when i first started, i remember one evening were i died 6 times to zombies. That night i struggle to find anything to help me survive.

    What i do now after i spawn is.

    1. head into a town with a hospital and raid it for med supplies.

    2. Then hit the supermarket for food.

    3. GET THE HELL OUT

    4. head to NWA for weapons & stuff to help me live in the woods such as hunting knife, hatchet & matches.

    5. Try to survive

    Also try to find a server that is a co-op friendly server so you can get use to the game and the map without to much worry of being shot.

    Hope this helps, am still new to the game and always learning. Its a cruel world in DayZ.

    Morning all brace yourself for yet another noob question .....

    Ready ? .....

    Ok here we go ....

    How do i know if the server i am about to join or looking to join is connected to the Main DayZ Hive ? I say this as i had a 7 day old char on a server and they had a database error and my char was lost.

    Afternoon all, this may sound a silly question but i cannot find the answer.

    If i am on the map Chernarus and then i join a different server that is running a different map such as lingor does my Gear dissapear ? If so would it come back when i go back on the Chernarus map ?
