Mostly because of your CPU. Arma 2 is a HUGE CPU intensive game, add zombies and it's even worse. Your GPU is also a part of your lag. In your Arma 2 settings make sure Post-Processing is off and Video Memory is on Default. You might also want to turn off shadows. -
Everyone is saying that the new cans ruin the immersion in the game. I personally think it's just a texture, and I like the new variety of food and drinks.

I agree, I was excited when I saw they added new types of food and drink.

Usually when it says corrupt a file within the mod has been deleted or incorrectly downloaded. If you click repair it will not completly re-download it only re-install it. (Re-installing doesn't take long) EDIT: I don't know why it would say corrupt every time you download a mod for the first time.

I personally don't even care about the cans.
