How Hypocritical Heroes are Worse than Bandits

I have a similar play-style, except... With my two CD-keys, I can do both on each server and no one will know I am the same person either. FUCKING DIABOLICAL. -

How Hypocritical Heroes are Worse than Bandits
WeaponTheyFear7 replied to =CHRTB=Zilch's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
A real bandit would have killed that hero, ate his body, and strung the remnants to the back of the bicycle and went for a ride along the coast. Death as a hero is a tragedy; death as a bandit is a setback. -
actually... a camera would be badass. Not sure how it would be really effective, but I am a sucker for worthless novelty items in games anyways.

I don't like all this "arcade" style stuff. The ability to clear (killed zombies don't respawn --at least not for a long time--) would give me an incentive to kill zombies and that should be one of the main ones. If I encounter a group of zombies and I aggro them, I should be forced to flee for my fucking life. 1. Make zombies insane, scary, player-slaughtering creatures of evil, darkness, and demonic possession (the shit of nightmares). 2. Tons more zombies serverwide (3x - 4x) at least 3. Ability to clear zombies. 4. ?? 5. Profit/Purpose To Kill Zombies

Need help from the pc builders/experts
WeaponTheyFear7 replied to disorder's topic in Technology/Programming
Having "up to date" drivers can actually be a bad thing. I get weird texture glitches in some games and I have found that using older drivers fixes the issue. -
I have been using an EVGA GTX 560 Superclocked for quite some time now and I feel like it is time for an upgrade. Especially after trying to run my heavily modded version of Skyrim (mostly graphics tweaks). Now I will be selling my card to a close friend so he can use it in an SLI setup. I was looking for a new graphics card(s) (nVidia or Radeon, doesn't matter) that is either on par with two of those running in SLI, or better. A single card or a combination of two cards will be acceptable since my motherboard supports Crossfire and SLI. My price range is $200-300 but I am willing to spend a little more if I get enough bang for my buck. Let me hear your suggestions.

The ultimate guide of buying a decent computer.

Some games, like Shogun 2, actually do get a small boost (1- 3 fps) if the game is loaded from a solid state. -

So the GPU works in another setup but doesn't work in the new one? Does your monitor work plugged into the motherboard's video out (VGA) ?
-
Your user account will be on the SSD along with the OS, but you can manually save extra files to the other drive.
-
it's quality vs quantity Try getting that solid state with a single 2TB drive and you should be set for a long time. Store movies, music, games you rarely play, etc on the Disc Drive and store your OS and highly played games on the Solid State. solid states are much, much faster while disc drives have more space and are slower That one solid state is much "better" in my opinion than ONE of those drives, but the mix is what works best.

How can I get into programming?
WeaponTheyFear7 replied to Nitro DayZ's topic in Technology/Programming
Java is great, C++ is more difficult but very fast, C is excellent, I have also heard C# is great for starters. As for Visual Basic, I just personally do not like the language. It barely feels like programming to me (which others enjoy). -
Solid states can give you a cold boot to desktop in 5-8 seconds. All files on them can be accessed extremely fast. The problem with games with large files sizes (Arma, Total War Series, etc) is that your computer has to pull those huge files, then process them. If the retrieval of those files was instantaneous, wouldn't that make everything much faster and easier on the system? It seems you are building a machine that can handle itself for a long time without needing many upgrades. Well the solid state is the future of hard drives. Diminishing returns on SSDs don't even begin until 4TB+. The read/write of a Kingston Hyper X SSD is over 500MB/S+ which blows conventional disk drives out of the water. Solid States are fucking sweet lol A 240GB SSD should be excellent for your machine and I am certain you will be happy with the results. Just remember, DO NOT defrag a solid state.

try reconfiguring the software and if that fails then the issue will default to hardware the errors in the picture suggest software issues

Make sure everything is plugged in GPU could be DOA Video cable could be crap (try different output types to verify) Also, please tell us exactly what lights are coming on. Most motherboards have lights, some power supplies, ethernet ports, etc
-
64GB of RAM is overkill. Your OS can't even use all of it. 32GB is more than enough. Also, get a solid state for your OS and any games (especially large ones) you play frequently.

-More RAM, at least 4GB (preferably 8 or higher) -New graphics card for sure (Terminal Boy made an excellent suggestion) -Uninstall random crap on your hard drive and clean the registry -For the sake of good measure, run a Malwarebytes scan on your system as well because I have seen great systems slow down because of a well hidden virus
