Most of the loot was from Cherno and Elektro, and the M4A1 and it's magazines were from players I had killed in Cherno.

So, the first time I killed someone in DayZ was in Elektro. I had just spawned, and found some basic supplies and a double-barrelled shotgun, when I heard a bus driving through Elektro honking the horn. So I immediately got out of the building I was looting and started asking him over voice chat if he could give me a ride and he typed back in chat saying Yes. So I hopped on, and he drove us out of Elektro and a few minutes later suddenly just stops the bus and gets out for no reason, he didn't say anything either. So I took advantage of this, got out the bus and filled his head with lead and stole the bus. It was pretty funny after too, since he wouldn't stop raging over the Side Chat. So when was the first time you killed someone in DayZ?

When you see two zombies, don't shit yourself. They don't insta-kill you like they do in The War Z when they're in groups.

After months of practicing in the Editor, I still can't manage to land helicopters properly :( I always manage to fuck up a part in some way or just end up blowing up the entire thing xD

1. Don't shoot anything unless necessary. 2. Don't trust anyone unless you're on Skype or Teamspeak with them or you know them IRL. 3. Conserve ammunition and supplies. 4. The first best place to look for decent entry-level gear is a barn or farm. Progress onto cities and towns, and eventually the airfields and castles. Also Balota Airfield is a good place to start too.

I was running along the power lines to Cherno and the server I was on had nametags enabled. As I was running, I saw a name come up but I didn't see anyone, but on closer inspection it turned out to be a guy in a ghillie suit, and he had obviously seen me too since I wasn't wearing anything special except for a double-barrel and a Czech backpack. He said "friendly??" and I replied in voice direct communication "Yeah man, want to team up?" and he agreed. As soon as he turned around, I loaded my pellets for the double-barrel, pointed the gun and opened fire. He didn't die straight away, but he was obviously about to die and bleeding bad from being shot by a shotgun at point-blank, and he started running towards the nearby trees. I fired a few more shots at him which all hit him, and finally the last two shots broke his legs and knocked him unconscious, so I ran over and finished him off with my lovely Makarov :) He had some nice gear, NVG goggles, rangefinder, a lovely M4A1.

Those new screenshots look amazing! Take your time Rocket, we can wait for all this :)

When me and some random bandit found me, and we went on an adventure. We took down a UH-1Y with AK-47's and an M4A1. It was so fucking epic, lol

A whitelist is a certain list of people that are allowed to enter a server. This reduces the amount of hackers that join servers because they only join servers that are easy to access and where it is easy to fuck around with the people on the server. A good example of whitelisted servers is Balota Buddies, they have a few whitelisted servers and hardly any hacker ever comes on their servers which is good :)

I was looting in Cherno when a guy found me, and we went on an epic adventure! (Really, we took down a chopper and almost got sniped in a server with less than 15 people, it was early in the morning)

If it was a decent gunfight and I managed to win, I'd be feeling pretty pumped since everytime I hear gunshots that are near me I get a damn adrenaline rush. If it was just some random guy I saw and decided to shoot, I'd just try to get whatever I can off the body and gtfo away from the body as fast as I can.

I just make sure I have a good aim on them and that I am ready to shoot to kill at any moment, then I tell them I'm here and not to turn around. Most of them do turn around because they're stupid and end up getting shot.

Me and a mate were playing on some random AU public hive server, and we found a helicopter. We decided to head straight north to the airfields up there and loot, but we found all these on the way!

Exactly. There's loads of other fun things, like Takistan Life RPG or ACE. ArmA 2 is a good game itself too.

Often I just don't think and try shooting them straight away but end up dying, but this time I was smart and tricked him! ;D
