Script scan complete, no bad content was found
daaim0 replied to ipixels's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
The message "Script scan complete, no bad content was found" is actually an error message caused by antihacks which is reworded to look legitmate. You will get that message regardless if you have "bad content" inside your arma2 folder or not. Check your Arma2 folder and make sure you remove all your files that did not come with the game or via dayzcommander/playwithsix because you probably do have 'bad content' aka hacks inside your arma2 folder which is causing the grey screen. -
My opinion on the infection matter (based on a similar suggestion on another post) is that initial infection chance is relatively low. However, while bleeding/exposed wounds, infection chance if hit by a zombie is increased greatly.

^ Sigh... Not even funny. This isn't a complaint thread. I had a case where a player was kicked and cloned (known 1.7.7 issue) but did not kill the clone once logged back in. The player stated that after a few minutes, her gear started disappearing 1 by 1. I am not able to replicate this and wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Can you please elaborate on this? How could so many hosts happen to have the wrong server & mission files? I personally got mine via Pwnoz0rs github.

I would like to +1 the debug issue. I've had up to 14 people chilling there. Thanks for your hard work R4Z0R49.

Server AU DayZbonfire Admin admits to hacking
daaim0 replied to rassad's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Lol, he can't even give credit to Monky who made his anti-hack/admin tools - claims it as his own. -
I'm personally happy with all the updates and changes R4Z0R49 is doing. Loving the possible fix to the seagull issue! Thanks DayZ dev team!

Same issues as well on my dedicated server. I believe it only happens when there is high player count or 2-3 hours after restart. I have managed to disable the teleport anti-cheat but the "Something went wrong" messages still appear which implies they are not related. Just my 0.02.

Noldor, Utsuho, Thomas CreateVehicle Restriction #1 on SE 64

I would happily give out all the IP address of hackers for the world to see. It's not because I hate their guts and wish a plague upon them and their unborn children but because there is actually jack shit people can do with an IP address. Especially since most hackers go out of their ways to making sure they have dynamic IP's assigned by their ISP. Are you thinking people are like: "Yay - lets all go ddos a random kids IP address found on an internet forum..." - Even the most stupid script kiddies have better targets than that. -
I too recommend the SSD over the normal harddrive as the primary OS harddrive. If harddrive size is a factor, get the 2tb hardrive as a secondary as mentioned above. When you start up a game or program, the time it takes for data to transfer from your harddrive to RAM will be the bottleneck in your system. By having a SSD, you will be able to load data into ram a lot faster resulting in faster loading times of OS and games. You can use the seconday 2TB harddrive to store media or games you dont play much. You will be able to access your SSD and your normal harddrive via 'My Computer' and can easily copy files between the two. You will also have the option to choose which harddrive to install games/programs on during installation.

Any ways to combat vehicle spawners?
daaim0 replied to daaim0's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Yea, you are right but I'm a bit more careful than that. What I meant is that they have that gear within a few min, including a radio. I also make it very clear via motd and scheduled messages not to pick up illegal items. As well as adding communcation details to their ban message if they want to appeal. -
Hello everyone, I am running two public servers (private hive) for the New Zealand players but I am plauged with the most well-known issue with dayz/arma2... Hackers. This morning, I deleted all the Heli's (UH1H_DZ) from the database as a test, just to find 6 helis on the map again that night - All created different times that day (based on database create time). I am currently running "DayZ AntiHack" and "Gotcha-Antihack" as well as BEC for logging, which is catching the obvious hackers but this only seems like 10% of the hacking community. My server has only launched recenty so I can saftly ban any players who are packing the as50/l85/ghile combo but does anyone have any recommendations or advice on how to combat vehicle spawners? It's really depressing spendind days (and nights) getting these servers setup just to have idiots ruin the experience for others. Cheers.
