To play together you will both need your own copies of the game. Easy fix is to let him keep the bandit on his computer, and you buy another copy for your computer. If you are buying game thru steam you will have to start new acct because steam will only let you buy one copy. And you arent buying Dayz... you need Arma2: combined operations. dayz is a free add-on. Edit: i believe all stats are tied to cd key and are saved server side. Deleting files on your computer will do nothing. Move your game to a new computer and you will still have same gear and humanity stats.

Around 10:15 to 10:30 pm (Pacific Time - GMT-8) * What happened during the incident. My friend and I had been playing another server for hours, until it got dark, and then joined this one because it was still daylight. We were located in Komarovo airport. 2 min after joining we heard ATV engine and honking. I ran for the forest to hide while my friend covered me with rifle, incase they started shooting. 2 guys on an ATV chased me into trees, then shot me (I had only axe). My friend shot them, and it appeared his own bullets killed him, because they didn't fire at him, and after 3 shots he died. My friend left the server, but I respawned, in an attempt to recover gear. As I was running I noticed many people dieing, right after another, and 2 min after respawn, the ATV was suddenly behind me again, even though I was kilometers east of where I died. I respawned, and swam out into ocean. Again many others dieing... After abt 2 min, the atv and 2 guys appeared and sank, then suddenly it was on the shore, where they proceeded to dismount and shoot me again. I never could figure out who it was.
