Snilex - its a game kiddo. I'm not looking for historical reason - the game has an option to have a girl character - I paid for the damn game just like you did, but the majority of servers have shut off the option to have a girl character. If it werent an option it would be a no brainer and nothing I would mention but there ARE people out there who want to play girl characters - again - who paid GOOD MONEY for the game and aren't getting what was offered. When the stand alone is out - great. I don't even complain about not being able to use a ghillie suit (I don't need one because I'm a better player) but I do want to have a female character because I do and I paid for it because of that option. Because 12 yo's are scared of my lady parts - as WELL THEY SHOULD BE!!!

Toombs - sorry that happened to you. I know I've seen you on servers because i was going to ask if your name is an Xfiles reference (<<< nerd) I'm noticing too a LOT of people getting banned who might or might not be a hacker. I think if you find a server you really want to be on you do have to kind of talk a little and let people know you're friendly - not in the sense of not killing people but just that you're not looking to drive people nuts. I think the hackers are kind of funny (except those mass respawns over and over - thats annoying) but Admin SHOULD be able to go in and figure out whos doing that not just randomly ban folks who just want to play and dont want to team up (I'm not a fan of a team myself but I do tend to be chatty) Feel free to add me to your friends list - I'm on a PVP board right now - needed a break from running around recollecting my damn water bottle over and over again - but I'll vouch for you if need be! JJ

We had some trouble with running dayz commander so I mostly use 6. On both of these you can favorite or star the games that you're playing. When you look through the list and find a server you're going to try - star it BEFORE you log in and that way if you dont like that particular server you can get rid of the star but you're POSITIVE that you clicked on the one that you DO like. I definitely think that you're logging into different servers and losing stuff that way.

How does over 18 qualify you for old fart status? You should be at LEAST 30 to qualify. I might come check this out being an old fart and all.

I'm having this problem on both launchers and have no clue why? Maybe its the first of the month and no one is paying for server space? I'm getting pissed have been trying to get on all day and can't - withdraw anyone?

There are a few of us out there. Cant we make thing fair (and not completely sexist) and make it so every game has a girl character that can be played and that she can also wear the ghillie suit? Its annoying for us ladies!

When people crash them and leave them, they will regenerate when they reboot their server. The trick is getting on just after they reboot. Because I'm old, I play a lot during the day when most of the kids and workers are out. I get vehi's once in a while that way. 2 weeks is pretty new. We have been playing this game just about 2 months and I'd say I've had a vehi about 3 times. Once you get one, you'll find its a huge PITA. Everyone wants to kill you when they see and hear you. It is nice to hide from zombies but eventually you have to get out and refill the gas and you're taking life into your hands. And then no matter where you hide it someone will happen to find it. I prefer to stay on foot in the woods and come into towns when I need stuff - but come in on foot. You'll live longer that way.

get an axe because it works as a weapon, stay out of the middle of the cities unless you absolutely need food, never tell anyone where you are - even if they say they need help because they dont, and try to find some friends who wont kill you.

not asking for tiptoe'in mazel - just being able to play with out being annoyed not to mention being a constant HUGE target on the game. Someone said they kill girls automatically - that sucks for us! granted its made me a much better shot and player - but its still annoying as hell. I dont want or need respect from the dumb boys I just want to be able to do the same stuff other people can with no regard to my characters ass!

Its unfair when they do this on games. There ARE actually girls that play (My kid and I account for 2 of them) and there are others out there. Not as many as guys but we should be able to be represented! There are a lot of servers where they have made it so there ISNT a girl character to play and the comment on not being a girl - dont be stupid.

There are malls? I tend to keep to myself because everytime I offer to meet someone they shoot me (it's ok - I survive again!) One think I have noticed is that the z's can go through doors (which I think is silly - you should be able to hide SOMEWHERE) but you can find a roll of barbed wire fencing. I have found it and had it in my inventory but haven't had the chance to try it out. I think if you were to want to hide in a building and put the fencing in the front it would keep the eaters out. Otherwise, I agree with what every said. Find a canteen and hide in the woods by a pond and hunt. I find this is too much like real life so I like to run crazy through the middle of town just for the heck of it! See you in the streets!

And yay for more girls! My daughter and I play together under this name and I will feed myself to a zombie before playing as a stinky boy ;)

I think thats what makes the game so cool is the feelings that you get when you play. I don't have a mic but I try to stay on servers where are talking because its feels so much less lonely! I wish more people played friendly or that there was even a server for people who would take out snipers. I think it would be very cool to have some people run and others just blow zombies away, have cookouts in the woods (lmao). I really love the game too much!
