hello i'm currently at a standstill I cannot find a single server to play on for I either get JoshWantsDayZ's Computed GUID message and then just sits their with "Wait For Host", or I join a server get through the first few loading and receiving parts, only to be stuck on what I believe to be the last Loading screen (the loading screen without the load bar), I do hope someone can help me find some kind of solution because iv'e tried just about all I can think to do and find using google and am itching to get back to some dayz.

um... lets see ... I was being chased by zeds, I attempted to hide behind a bush which worked for a moment, he then found me prone on the ground as I began my run again when a player came up with a hatchet. I seen the player but being new I thought to myself that perhaps he was coming to assist a fellow unarmed char (well I had a shotgun and sidearm, no ammo) he came up and struck me dead with what appeared to be a one hit k.o. with his hatchet, only to have the zombie go after himself before he could even loot anything off my dead rotting corpse ... still wonder if he got my items or was wasted himself by said zombie lol

@HerrJon your more detailed list gives me exactly what i was looking for, more of an insight on why players do what they do. I thank you for your views and am amazed, although in some ways I do still feel this more as a cowards tactic, I now see it as more than such. I am impressed with yourself and would love to play with you someday and perhaps learn more from yourself about the world of day z. @Jamz & terrex I understand this is a game and to not take it personal, its not as if I'm rage quitting I just wanted more of an insight of why players do what they do within the game, I'm not an impatient man and do not feel any ill feelings towards those that kill me. @Dallas I do not exactly understand how spawn campers help the community, yes one must learn to move slow and more stealth like but killing players as soon as they spawn is no way to teach new players much in my opinion, if you do not mind sharing more on how this helps new players i would be most appreciative. @texcat11 I agree I still have much to learn in the game of day z, but at least I'm not a complete newb in the game of day z, just looking to learn more, I feel everyone can benefit from learning something new everyday.

I honestly mean no offense by this but all 4 of your reasons in my opinion HarrJon sound like cowards tactics. (lets kill the unarmed guys because the armed guys fight back Q_Q, and its more "fun"..) in this tactic it is no different than a lvl. 100 character on any mmorpg fighting a lvl. 1 there is no fun or honor in this, but again I have no ill will towards you remark and in no way do/did i mean to offend you. And SandwhichX I Do agree with what you posted above, and i do realize their is nothing that can be done, but like you said it would be nice if people played with a little more honor and decency. and what you said before about hackers, this brings up something else I would like to rant about why in the world would you hack the game, I found a crashed helicopter with a box containing 5 of each item beside it, this is pointless to not work for what you want/need the only reason i can see for one doing this is for like stated above killing survivors for "fun".

lets start this off with a story. A new player to Day z washes up on shore, with what little knowledge he has he begins his journey looking for what little bits and pieces he can find to survive, as he is traveling from small town to small town he find himself shot in the back of the head by a fully kitted sniper. now let me ask you why in the world would a fully armed man go out of his way to scout out and pick off defenseless players, are people really that desperate they must kill unarmed civilian to survive, and what does that mean for our future, has mankind sunk so low we must literally kill or be killed even against those with no means or capability of fighting back? I mean in my opinion any pussy can pull a trigger and kill something, but it takes a real man to trust others and put your life on the line to help out those who are need of help. (Hero's FTW) I'm sorry for those of you that have actually read this little rant of mine, but I just am curious to find and hear the reasoning's behind the senseless killings of new players and unarmed vets of Day z, and am curious to find out if things turn out for the better on private servers and such.
