:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L Has money but doesnt know what he's buying Overclocking helps with the game on hand and also multi tasking but people overclock for the better frame rates in games. The i7 3820 isn't overclockable, the i7 3770k is and it is just better overall.

The first time I tried to snipe in Cherno I lay there for 30 seconds before I said fuck this and ran in with my m14 aim :) Sniping is too boring for me, Im a very close range fighter, good one too.

1100 hours of Mount & Blade: Warband + Mount & Blade: With fire and sword (in less than a year), probably the best fighting system in the world still. I don't know my DayZ playing time because I don't run DayZ via steam -

Was in Elektro in the church getting stuff when a Bambi came in and I told him to Gtfo otherwise I'd shoot him, he did and 10 seconds later a bandit comes in as im in the loot screen and tells me to drop my gun, I could've just shot him in the face but I decided for the purpose of RP I didn't and dropped them both, he then proceded to tell me he had friends (which he didn't) and shot me in the back of my head. When I thought about it afterwards it would've been something I'd have done, even doing it to groups telling them I have friends and how would they know the difference? -

I've noticed when shooting a m16a2 at around 100-200 meters the bullet go's upwards to where you are aiming at, quite a bit actually.

DayZ Performance - Are they fixing this in the standalone?

I play on total max with a 7850 @ 1000/1400 and a i5 2500k @4.4GHZ, even anti aliasing :P I believe it'd be server wise, like other people say, turn HDR to normal, shadows off, anti aliasing @ normal or even disabled, post processing off, FXAA off, antisotropic filtering off and everything else is good to go to the max. -
DayZ commander is the best, it has got to be the most simple thing i've ever done with software in my life other than Wizardinstallers

:'( I found my first ATV in the forest wandering and it was perfectly good, just needed some fuel but it had a DMR in it, never got to use it because I hate sniping honestly, rather get the job done with my M14 aim, anyways I flipped it on some bridge right up north and tried to blow it up but it wouldn't :'( had to run all the way back where I came. -

From what I find overclocking your CPU and max frames ahead are thr biggest contributors, I went from high details, normal antialiasing, normal shadows, no FXAA, 500 visibility to the VERY MAX for everything (including 1800 visibility which is the max that DayZ does) just by overclocking my CPU to 4.4GHZ and overclocking my 7850 to 1000/1400. -

It'll run fine but why did you get a laptop? portability isn't really a good enough reason to not get a 3x more powerful desktop than that for the same price...

Off topic but do you really actually type those last sentences in every one of your posts? doesn't it get bloody annoying? On topic, it definitely is your intel core 2, what exactly is your graphics card?
