Alot of people who go by that can't really play the games at all, for planetside 2 the minimum specs would not run the game at all in a battle and for DayZ the recommended specs would barely run in cities at 20fps, worse so with the minimum specs.

Was it prebuilt? Do you have a link? I wanna know if you got ripped off. That 6gb of RAM is unfamiliar and usually marks a ripoff but like before, i'm curious.

Mid january or feb is apparently the release for the standalone, it's optimized better so your computer will work better in the standalone than in Arma 2 Curious for the actual specs though, explain?

Not a troll post by OP, if it was a troll the title would've been 'CANZ I RUN DAYZ? HELP PL0X!' It will run nice and smooth, but a 4004 will be a much better value for money than the 3930k, no joke.

Because I just got my new PC still on my 1st character, went up north and found the good stuff and then thought "what would be the best idea to overcome the rule, *don't get attached to your gear*? I'll go to cherno!" So I did, and before that I killed somebody, it was nerve racking, my heart was pumping out of my chest as I killed him. Now i'm in cherno, yet to be killed yet and have 13 player kills with my m14 aim :) 2/3 of which I was getting shot at

Fair enough, tell me how it goes because I like to know from experiences of the people playing the games. (fps wise etc) and go into the city to help me as well XD

The beating of my heart as I'm about to kill somebody always excites me, I play as a solo bandit, looking for loot and enemies. This game questions your actions, Why did I kill that person? was it neccesary? I don't really think any other game does that. Also Arma 2 gun shot sounds have scared the total fuck out of me, I never get scared that much even on Slender, amnesia or horror movies etc.

Arbitrary much lol With better specs some people can't play for crap and with some crap specs people can play fine. But there is a middle line or lets say a mean to where we think there specs can run. Kind of false hope :(

The i5 3570k is worth the extra money, benchmarks show that but the i5 2500k is nearly as good, in game it actually works better, you might think not, but it's the case especially in Arma 2 and DayZ.

No way in the world on high/max. You will play on low with great FPs and good fPS on medium, couldn't tell you more. Good budget rig, planned well.

I'm a PC gamer and a Console gamer, I've been playing both since I was very young and i'm only 13 now, on Cod there isn't much of those 8 year old squeakers on mics, and generally for COD the players are better on Xbox, It's only when you get to games like Battlefield 3 when you see lesser skill compared to PC. On the next gen consoles it'll be good if there was a different platform 'DayZ' because if some of you guys really hate all the squeakers then they'll just switch back to where they came from. I don't see what's wrong with a controller, I'm as good with a controller as a mouse and I have extreme accuracy when firing my lovely SKS on Bf3 with a controller :D I used to play MineZ (minecraft version of DayZ) and all the time I would see people playing it because there computer is too bad to play DayZ, all the time. If It came out on consoles there would be a much more happy community and the PC community will be away from all the 8 year olds...

Not top of the line? That's this generation, you must have like 4 GTX 680's and a 3970x or something to say that. It'll run on high/very high.
