Your talking like this is a army game IT'S NOT. Plus when full zombies are in the game good luck with that..btw ill cut my balls off if 3rd gets changed because I know it won't. This game is getting ruined by army wannabes, go play arma2/3 and ull be able to mayb kill some people. Btw has that pole reached 1% of the DayZ player base yet? Oh and that video on reddit was very basic first person gaming knowledge. If DayZ was PVP 100% of the time I would play in 1st person, just like any other FPS.

I agree. I can't stand these people that play DayZ like an army game! I mean Jesus Christ man it's not Arma or Battlefield, it's a zombie survival game lol All these 1st person players do my head in. Go play a real PVP game. -

Well hopefully they can do that then! Might as well lock this thread now lol That's the only option in my eyes is a 4th wall. Us 3rd person players aren't saying no to fixes. We are saying no to the idiots that think 1st person would be better. All my points I have made are valid against first person play and I have not said once not to fix up 3rd person. I feel there will be no fix in the future, it's a massive risk for this game and there are 1000's more important things to be fixed.

It's funny how only 1st person players are moaning. Do you hear us crying over getting killed by someone with 3rd person? No because we all have the same tools. It's not breaking the game, it's not an exploit and it's sure as hell not a cheat. Funny how no 3rd person complains, only these small % of people playing 1st person. Now run along to your empty, non entraining PVP servers. I'm done with this thread, if they can fix the looking over wall shit then good. But don't ruin something that got millions of people playing it.

Well this is your problem. Your a counter strike player trying to play DayZ like counter strike lol Incase your not aware, YouTube videos made DayZ take off and made random people aware of it. You wouldn't be here or the SA if it wasn't for great DayZ videos. Back in the day or early DayZ, encountering people was insane, trying to help people or KOS them made the game. When DayZ got big players like ya self came and started playing it like cod or any other PVP FPS.

As for the cinematic feel for videos in 3rd person, its great for watching someone's story in DayZ because u connect more seeing the player. DayZ is your story, not your PVP fight in 1st person mode.

Exploring Adrenaline Adventure Random encounters Freedom to do whatever PVP is good but u can get that in any game.

Right so that's that then. 3rd person needs fixed...yet 80% of the DayZ players play it that way. To fix 3rd person they will have to do things that will not look good at all. Plus it's only an exploit if other people don't have the same view. It's insane for people to call 3rd person 'exploiting' when everyone else deals with it. It's just a different play style. DayZ in 1st person is no different to any other 1st person PVP game, simple as that.
