There is simple solution for this. It works, no wipes for me anymore. Here is my method: - when you refresh servers make sure screen loaded most of them (not 10 or 20), wait for more, don't rush - join the server - do not press any buttons or move your mouse until your character load - check if loaded character is your actuall character - if it's yours, grab your mouse and start playing - if you spawned on the coast DON'T MOVE YOUR MOUSE or DON'T PUSH ANY KEY - quick him ESCAPE button and EXIT - rejoin to the server again and here you go, you got all your gear back It worked for me many times.

It takes about 20 minutes to get best gear ingame. Hail server ghosting, Hail balota baracks. It's just stupid.

For now I'm unconscious for like 10 minutes already beacause my character was tooo tired, nothing special. Does it mean I'm dead? Beacause Everytime I'm unconscious I hit respawn button after 15 minutes... how long do I need to wait to get up?!

What are you talking about? I also play on laptop and I have more fps than in the mod.

I'll be killing on sight every time I get gun beacause this is the way I enjoy the game and I'm not the only one. Stop crying and hide in woods.

Hahah I know it's early alpha and I didn't expect finished game. I don't care about floating loot, zombies in the walls, server kicks or FPS. I'm talking about ghosting - main problem of the mod which they transfered to SA version. Just lol. And loosssing gear, still? Rly? Characters database is the first thing that should be done. Not f**king weapons attachments or removable t-shirts. Could be better :) I'll just wait.

And I found all best stuff in the game, custom brand-new m4, 160 rounds, scopes, silencers, high-tech military gear and tons of food. All in less than 2 hours. Switching from server to server all the time, camping market at Stary and barack at NWAF, but my character gets wiped every 2 hours so... I noticed like 30 players doing same shit that's why this game sucks for now and I'll for private hives with no ghosting option.

Hi there, After 6 months break I want to start play DayZ again but I can't find myself good server. I'm looking for: - CLASSIC dayz mod server - 100% cheaters free - weapons like m4,ak and other rifles are rare or very rare (more rare = better) - vehicles are rare or very rare - no traders and other shit - enough players to have fun I will be thankful for help!

One more question: I remember there was option called "ghosting" where you can switch from public server to another public server - is it still there? Please tell me they removed this...

Hi there. First of all I want to say that my english isn't very well so I can't explain everything. Try to understand me please. I started play DayZ 3 days ago. I couldn't wait anymore after I saw these all dayZ gameplays on youtube. I bought Arma2:OA, installed everything step by step. Went to some random server ([...]dayzmod.com hosted by[...]) and I was like "OMFG! This game is f***ing great!". I noticed this is the best game I've ever played. Really. First day I died many times by both, zombies and other players. But thats normal, thats ok, im learning. I also got killed twice by God? Bird? Lost bullet? I just died, but thats ok... Second day cheater killed me again. Some other players died too because I got spammed by server with list of player who just died. I lost compas, watch, map, combat knife etc. AKM with 3 mags, Alice and many cans. I switched to next server ([...] dayzmod.com [...]) and after I collected good stuff (5 hours) and Ghillie suit ("WTF!!! ;o") I asked on global chat what will happen If I die with Ghillie, will I loss it or not. Some nice guy answered my question: "Look." and 5 seconds later I got killed by power of will again. I switched to next server and same shit happened twice. I've tried search info about "which servers are official" and I noticed that i was playing on official servers so What the Fuck? I got back to playing and cheaters keeps kill me. Yeah, im sure they are cheaters. I also saw few guys spawning cars and ammo boxes. They spawned some stuff for me, I said "I won't take it because it will dissapear anyways." Baaam! Power of will is amazing... broken bones + shock + my body flys 10 meters in the air like I got hitted by RPG, again. I really don't want to quit this game but I need some info and ur help. Is this happens on every server? No? Please give me address then. I wonder how you guys can play 30 days without single respawn? I was playing on: DE 1220 DE 1540 DE 1228 and many more. Cheaters everywhere.

Can someone please tell me how can I play on private server? When I try to join it says "wrong version", even if the server and me are running latest patches/versions
